Yuri Zhirkov 2.0?

 

Zhirkov could've been a great player if he was played anywhere but left back.

 

Schurrle is still young, he has great potential, just needs a run of games (looking unlikely with the form of Willian). Although I feel he'll prove to be a valuable asset in the champions league scoring a few crucial goals. 

I am not a fan of Shirley, has poor vision and terrible ball control. I actually rated De Bruyne higher than him.

The first 45 minutes against Bayern in the supercup was the best football he's played in a Chelsea shirt. I was a believer ever since and I still feel he'll have a bright future at Chelsea. He Could've easily had 3 assists against the best team in the world. Not saying he'll end up like Hazard or even Oscar in the long run, however I still think he has lots of potential. Just needs to work harder and impress the manager.

I think Shurrle tries to hard which makes him greedy and that showed with his shot late on when he should have slipped in salah for a great chance. I also think that he is going to be our new Kalou. A bit of a marmite player.

It is all about playing. Schurrle needs to play. He had some good games early on, then one or two bad ones and that means it is very hard to come back when others are doing well at the same time. He'll come good. Have you seen the difference with him and DeBruyne. When Kev didn't play he was in the press all the time about this and that. No stories on Andre. We have a good player here who wants to stay and do well and he will.

I always thought Zhirkov played his best games for us at left back especially in the 2-1 win at Old Trafford where he had Valencia in his back pocket.

Starting to feel for this guy now, will he last beyond the end of the season? I haven't seen him play in ages.

Is he still alive?

Were desperate for goal scorers, apart from Hazard who else is going to score ?? And still Schurrle don't get game time. Something is amiss. 

Should give him some games upfront,he would be better than Torres.

In Jose's place I probably would have replaced Rami with Andre. Shame he didn't get any game time.

With Hazard / Willian undroppable, it's hard to see how he's going to get time.

Personally think Willian needs to show a lot more end product to be classified as undroppable .

He must not be training well lately.

The boy with limited playing time always seems to create more in attack than Willian. 

 

I get that Willian's work rate can be impressive but right now I think we can sacrifice that for more end product in the final third.

 

In just a ten minute cameo against West Ham Schurrle hit the woodwork and set up another very good chance (for Hazard I think it was) and that's more than Willian can manage in 90 minutes a lot of games.

 

I think he deserves some game time based on our last couple of games. 

Hazard Oscar Willian is Jose's first 3 behind Eto'o or Torres. Andre was very promising at the start of the season, Scored a hat trick for Grtmany, was our best player (along with hazard) in the Super cup. Scored a vital goal against Man City.

His two goals against Stoke was a prime example of where Schurrle likes to play, wide left. Sorry, that's Hazards position, he's shown time and time again, he can cut in from the left and produce more 'end product' than Schurrle.

There are plenty of games coming up, but I don't see him playing very much, I heard he was quite surprised at the strength of the premier league and he's trying to bulk up a little bit. If so this could just be a work out season of transition for Andre. He posted recently on his Instagram 6 FRIED EGGS for breakfast, I think he knows what he's doing.

All well and good he'll be back next season, it will be an interesting Summer I think, at this current rate does anyone think Andre will be in the Germany squad? Never in the first team with Ozil, Gotze, Rues and Muller.

Hazard, Oscar, Willian is fine when we are playing well, the last two games we have been poor so I think something needs to change.

 

Against Stoke Schurrle was playing more as a 2nd striker than a midfielder and he was find the space to cause a lot of problems so that's a possible solution. 

 

He could start of the left and Hazard plays on right or central.

 

I don't think Schurrle looks at his best on the right but Willian isn't completely indispensable that someone else can't play there. 

He can play up front until we get a center forward who can hold the ball.

I think Hazard is so good now he can go past people playing from the #10 role and doesn't even need the space he has out wide anymore.

I'd agree. With Oscar looking off the pace at the moment (and who's surprised, he hasn't had a break in years) it's worth trying Hazard in the number 10 position.

That's Hazard's best position anyway.

Lol good point. RVP turned out to be a fake fan after all that. But at least we know Hazard and Mikel hate Man Utd and Willian hates Tottenham Lolz. Who else does our squad hate?

 

Looks like Juan Mata hates United too - or maybe he just hates being at United.....
