No he wont.

I'd like to see Schurrle on the left with hazard playing through the middle, and either oscar or willian on the right side. Schurrle is best when cutting in and shooting, which is why i'd have him on the left.

Against bottom half teams I agree, against a top 8 team or so and i'd like to see Luiz and Matic paired in the middle for a little more physicality in the middle.

Oscar isn't exactly weak though but i get your point.I like Luiz in midfield too.

Hazard seems equally effective wherever he is, he moves around a lot.  I too want to see Schurrle (and Salah) as our other AM more often because our attack is just blunt at the moment.  Everyone seems to know they just need to concentrate on Hazard to keep us under control.  I didn't see much of Willian in Russia or the Ukraine, but he really reminds me of Ramires on the wing.  Great work rate, great pressing and unending stamina; but when it comes to actually attacking as a winger he doesn't seem threatening at all.  In fact I think I'd prefer him in central midfield next to Matic if anything.  The problem is exasperated with our fullbacks playing so defensively so there is no overlap and the fact that we have weak strikers.  Not to mention Oscar going off the boil.

 

Hopefully Jose makes some adjustments soon.  It's irritating seeing City and Liverpool so rampant while we struggle to score.  I'm not looking for a rendition of Ancelotti's goal scoring rampage, but our attack really needs to improve if we want this title.

Thats another reason why we dont score as many as Liverpool and City.Yeah they have better strikers but they have fullbacks who get high up the pitch in support and put good crosses in for example.Look at Hazard first goal against Sunderland,Azpi made an overlapping run which took a defender away, Hazard waited for him and then cuts inside and scores.Too many times our attacking players have no where to go and the outball is always Ivanovic a CB playing RB who the oppo no 9 times out 10 wont cause them any damage.

Personally & it's just my opinion, I think this guy could be turn out to be a bit of a legend for our club in the long term.

 

He has a good skill,great pace, sharp & a superb defensive work rate.....what more can you ask for?.

 

Eden Hazard is the only other proven attacking player with pace we have at the moment, but I'm beginning to think most of the other PL clubs are realising this also.

 

Man mark Hazard out of the game & you blunt our attack.

 

Start Andre against Everton & stick with him,boost his confidence,in the long term, I think we will be glad that we did.

I can't agree with this at all. I absolutely hate seeing Ramires on the flank but Willian is nowhere near as bad. Willian has got a very good skill set, similar to Hazard fact, but he just needs time to work out his game. Certainly he is not as productive as he should be. Don't forget this is the first time he's playing at top level and he is coming from Russia. I think next season will be his breakout season.

Yes Ramires is much worse there and I didn't mean to imply Willian was that bad, but their styles certainly seem similar.  It's all industry no guile.

So he can blow hot and cold in one match. Clearly, the man can be a great asset for the team, but what changed after half tme? Hazard playing better? Hopefully Schürrle's form doesn't solely depend on one single Chelsea player. But... encouraging!

I think he just needs a longer run in the first team. I expect Willian to return against Tottenham but i would much rather see Schurrle play instead.

I suspect Willan will return and Oscar will be benched 

Give him a few games as cf, if it doesn't work it doesn't work. With our current 3's strike rates it's not like we have a lot to lose. But you never know, if he shows more of that finishing we might just have a lot to gain. He wouldn't be the first winger to switch to cf and succeed.

We've been crying out for a clinical finisher all season. Turns out he's been sitting on our bench...

I've only watched about 3 mins of highlights but delighted to see Schurrle get a hat-trick. I was worried that he was stuck in the wilderness but hopefully his performance today will get him a run in the team.
