Awesome game, hats off to Torres for selflessly passing that ball on, great finish from ba, I have to say after the end of the season he's having id be quite upset if we sell him. We are few but we are mighty. Well played by all but I'm glad schwarzer did the Aussie contingent proud. He's a bit ponderous these days but still has the reflexes.

Anyone still think because of our dropped points to some so called "lesser teams" we don't deserve the Title?

 

I'd say our points tally against the tops sides shows us as most deserving of the bunch.

 

 

Problem is that over the course of the season about half the games are where you meet the lesser teams who ask you to break down their defenses and that's where we've been found wanting. The table never lies. If you're on top at the end of 38 games you've f**king deserved it no matter what.

It's appalling that we've only lost 1 game against the other teams in the top 8 but still the title is between Pool and City.

As for today, great result. Already begun chewing my nails for Wednesday.

I boldly predict we shall prevail on all fronts by hook or by crook. We have players who have the mental strength to dig in and get the big results, we have been here before. The pressure is not on us' it is on them. They lack truely big match experience, only play one way and I can see them panicking whether they are 1-0 up or down.

 

IMO we are out performing against expectation this season, the team with no strikers sitting in second place in the EPL and in the CL semi-finals is a remarkable achievement. Our achillies heel has been overcoming the well organised and workman like sides. But when it comes to the crunch matches Jose has the knack of bringing home the points - I see only one winner at Anfield and that is Chelsea,

Hate to say it but I told you so - a Mourinho feckin masterclass brilliantly executed by 14 players who were totally tumed in and played as one solid unit. Two big matches down and one to go, can't wait for Wednesday night.
