December 18, 201411 yr That's unfortunate. Ever since Balotelli's return, everyone has been on his case, nothing has gone right for him, doesn't really deserve the criticism. As a human being, I feel sorry for him. Everyone has been on his case because he has been sh*t, it's not going right for him because he never puts the work in. If he played better then people wouldn't say anything. He needs to get over himself and actually start putting the work in for the team. I don't see that happening though, the guy doesn't know how to be a team player.
December 19, 201411 yr I'm just laughing at the fact that he needs to take an education course. Edited December 19, 201411 yr by MANoWAR

December 19, 201411 yr The softy in me has to admit I feel just a little bit sorry for Ballotelli. He's just a bit of an imbecile more than a rancid person I think. From what I have seen from him in recent games I think he is trying but isn't getting any luck. Also the team he's in is seriously devoid of top end talent. At first he did swan about but now I think he's trying to put it right but having no joy. If he goes to Italy again I could see him playing under mancini and being useful enough
December 19, 201411 yr f**k him, he's rich, has the world at his feet and keeps doing stupid sh*t. No sympathy for him at all in this situation, its all on him.
December 19, 201411 yr Maybe he should try growing up and realise he has responsibilities. He has no one to blame other than himself.
December 19, 201411 yr Balotelli's suspension is ridiculous, I would be livid if one of our players was banned for something non football related like that. In other news Liverpool are linked with a £50m bid for Benzema. You'll excuse me for thinking that Benzema would ever entertain the idea of swapping la liga leaders Madrid for mid table Merseyside.
December 19, 201411 yr Maybe he should try growing up and realise he has responsibilities. He has no one to blame other than himself. I don't think a person who wears a 'Why Always Me' shirt has that type of self-awareness. It sounds harsh but I think he's just got a weak character and that probably does stem from his turbulent upbringing. He's a man-child and I thought that having a kid might've made him grow up a bit but he's just not progressed. It's a shame because it's such a waste of talent.

December 19, 201411 yr You are right but you cannot give a person intelligence - that sounds awful and patronising - soz. It's like Gazza - a brilliant intuitive player but just not very bright. No one could have helped Gazza - he was beyond help in terms of his life outside football. I think that is a good comparison. Gazza's problem was he had too many hangers-on and I think Ballotelli is the same. Rather than listen to sage advice they take it from people who are only interested in themselves. It's difficult to tell 'friends' to get lost but when those friends are just using you for their own purpose, they are not really friends anyway.
December 19, 201411 yr I doubt we will find out but once Pellegrini confirms the injuries today, If all the strikers are injured, I highly doubt we will start with Pozo up front tomorrow, He's a play maker type not a centre forward, If he doesn't start up front i think Milner is the favorite to start up there, Mr reliable, That way we could have Fernando, Fernandinho in the middle, Silva/Navas and Nasri with Toure in behind Milner, Toure would have been a candidate but can't see him working hard enough. If anyone thinks our fixtures are gimme's, They need to utter these words to themselves, City will be playing James f**king Milner up front, I have faith in the lad but let's be honest we will need some freebie goals to get going, How easy will it be for teams to park the bus against that?
December 19, 201411 yr Can't see Milner being upfront surely he's way down the list behind silva, nasri, toure, lampard, zabletta, hart?

I can't see Milner playing up front Pozo could very well start there considering he's played there a couple of times this season In all honesty, I could see Frank playing there more than Milner Would be very interesting seeing Yaya playing there though Imagine that battering ram
December 19, 201411 yr That Torres lad at AC Milan looks pretty decent, City should snap him up for 50m before someone else does?
December 19, 201411 yr Anyone hear about marco reus being fined 500,000 as he's been driving without a licence. It's apparently the 5th time he's done it and his response seems to be that he doesn't understand why he does it. F*** me, the arrogance of some of these footballers when it comes to motoring offences is amazing.
December 19, 201411 yr I dont think he would join us. From what has been said, he wants to leave City because he doesnt start week in week out so I can see him joining us. Im not sure where he would go. Liverpool maybe.

December 19, 201411 yr Balotelli's suspension is ridiculous, I would be livid if one of our players was banned for something non football related like that. Begs the question of why they didn't ban Rio for his Twitter 'choc ice' comment. I know they fined him, but there was no ban, even though it was aimed at a fellow pro and England teammate.
December 19, 201411 yr Yeah and they would pay him a decent wage. Either way he will have to drop down a level to get week in week out football. Arsenal and Spurs might be other options
December 19, 201411 yr Begs the question of why they didn't ban Rio for his Twitter 'choc ice' comment. I know they fined him, but there was no ban, even though it was aimed at a fellow pro and England teammate. Because Rio is lined up the FA's discriminatory panel (or whatever it's called) and Balotelli is a johnny foreigner who once wrote something on his vest. Or maybe I'm just a cynic. But yes, absolutely no consistency once again from the FA... Now there's a surprise.

In other news Liverpool are linked with a £50m bid for Benzema. You'll excuse me for thinking that Benzema would ever entertain the idea of swapping la liga leaders Madrid for mid table Merseyside. Not if it was about the 5th or 6th time he had done stupid things though, surely? Any chance Liverpool had of buying that calibre of player was last summer, no chance now.
December 19, 201411 yr Not if it was about the 5th or 6th time he had done stupid things though, surely? Does the charge not relate specifically to the Super Mario Meme that he posted? A meme so offensive that the BBC are happy to include it on the article relating to his ban.... It's not offensive, it's funny. I really don't think it is the FA's place to police social media sites and especially when in this instance no one can surely claim that offense was intended? Maybe I'm in the minority here but it has all the markings of a character assassination, I refuse to believe the punishment would have been issued had, for example, Steven Gerrard posted the same picture.

I meant more the "if it was one of our players" bit mate. If it was a a one off and our player had been done then yeah, I would be a bit narked. If it was one of several escapades then I would think it was his own stupid bloody fault.
December 19, 201411 yr Re Balotelli, is it even possible for a black man to be racist towards black people? Er, no. Second, is "grabs coins like a Jew", really that bad? Suggesting someone is good at collecting money is not even insulting, FFS. You'd have to have paper thin bloody skin to take offence at that. I wonder what the world is coming to sometimes. 130 kids murdered by the Taliban and some idiot at the FA is worried about a ****ing Super Mario cartoon. Honestly, get a ****ing life.
