I might look like a twat saying it because I couldn't stand him at Arsenal, but he looks a different person for me, less interested in causing sh*t just wants to get his head down and  focus.

He does look genuinely devastated that we never got the 3 points, good to see but he isn't giving up by the sound of it.

Part of football... Will we ever be robbed more then barca at home? I'd be shocked. It frustrates me in the moment to and it takes everything not to kill the TV.. But I just can't get on with all the doom and gloom, and the scape grating chap... Maybe some players aren't good enough maybe they are, but there are 11 guys out there not just Mikel.. The goal was terry fault but some how Mikel gets the blame.

I think it's great that we expect to win every game... Criticisem is one thing but some of the hyperbole is crazy

Expectation is definitely higher these days, that comes down to where we're at now. As I said some people do really overeact but they often calm down a bit later.

I was pissed at the decision and anyone who is is right to be.

That whole Mikel slating along with the Willan overreactions is ridiculous.

I think Burnley manager Sean Dyche deserves praise, didn't park the bus, went for it and got rewarded with a point at City. Ginger Mourinho!!

So when will Martinez be sacked?

Barcodes 3 Everton 1

He won't be getting the sack any time soon. One thing i like about Everton is that they have faith in their managers to turn things around.

Agree...couldn't stand the guy at arsenal or barca, but his passion for the cause there was clear to see...lived how he shut down talk of himself and amount of assists down instantly

I was in the boozer watching today but knew when we scored some would still find a way to blame mikel, so I had a quick look in the match thread and was right, couldn't believe it.

To think at the start of the season we were expecting Everton to be challenging to a CL spot...

It seems like it will be City and us 1st and second and United third Arsenal 4th yet again, would be a bit boring if that happens.

As long as we're first I don't care how boring/predictable the rest is!

True! I think us winning it will overshadow all the additional drama around us.

Just for fun, here's where we and City have dropped points in the first half of the season.

Chelsea points dropped 11

City away – drew

United away – drew

Sunderland away – drew

Newcastle away – lost

Southampton away – drew

Man City points dropped 14

Stoke home – lost

Arsenal away – drew

Chelsea home – drew

West Ham away – lost

QPR away – drew

Burnley home - drew

Looks like City don't like playing in London, they've dropped points at Arsenal, West Ham and QPR. Their home record is nothing like as good as ours and apart from our trips to the north-east, any points we have dropped have been against top-4 sides. City have been vulnerable to teams from the bottom half of the table....

Same problem he had at Wigan. His teams play pretty football, but can't defend for toffee.

i would've struggled to believe it if he hadn't been blamed yet.

Ha ha, yeah true

Just shows you that last season was a fluke, Barkley has a long long way to go and we were right to sell Lukaku

I am not sold on le arse finishing 4th. I know they beat the hammers today, but IMHO they were lucky that goal by Song was disallowed. Also Southampton aren't mugs either. Spudz have a shot just as much as le arse has too.

I think they will tbh, hope they don't mind would rather Spurs did

I wont bother talking about what happened to us earlier as I've just stopped going round and round in circles thinking about how the f**k we drew that game, I want to talk about Mythinez, Roberto Mythinez, He spunked £30 million on Lukaku and this is how he repays the board by having them languishing in 11th? If he wasn't such a sweet talker to the press, I'd expect him to be sacked soon, Another thing, How right was Mourinho regarding Lukaku ?  Having watched him for Belgium and this year, He's so frustrating, His team mates must get so annoyed with his constant moping about.
