David Luiz was like that with us though. I don't think he did anything wrong tonight, a few fouls here and there and he tried to wind up Diego Costa but there isn't really anything wrong with that. It's not like he was anything like Veratti who put in a two footed lunge on Fabregas.

 

What did you fellas make of the game? The away goal has given you the advantage but if Cahill starts in the 2nd leg it could be a tense match, Pundits can ramble on about the Cahill/Terry partnership all they want but Terry is the colossus in that defence and at times his reading of the game makes Cahill look good, Anyway what did Zouma do to get benched? or was he carrying a niggle? He's been superb every time I've watched him.

 

I think Mourinho went with experience which 9 times out of 10 is usually the best thing to do. I can see Zouma easly playing the majority of the remaining games this season though. He is playing better than Cahill right now and i think he will start against Burnley.

 

I don't think we played well at all tonight. We don't seem to be playing as well against the top sides away from home this season. I was fine with our counter attacking tactics last season away from home but this season it isn't working for some reason. It just keeps breaking down and we surrender the ball far too easily. I think we are very nervous when we get the ball. We seem afraid to play the pass which is surprising really. We are a better team on the ball this season you would think these tactics would work even better than they did last season.

Lionel Messi gets special treatment from the likes of UEFA, The FA, etc like when he got plsyer if the tournament in the World Cup when he wasn't even in the top five in test tournament.

The media, pundits alike etc have always bent over backwards for Gerrard, Ryan Giggs etc.

Don't think that Cahill was at fault. Our problems in the defensive were actually LB and RB. Azpi and Ivanovic didn't habe their best games defensively. 

Otherwise 1-1 is a great result for us obviously. We will go through.
