Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

it's becoming increasingly clear that what Liverpool need to take them to the next stage is a long arduous Europa League campaign with Thursday night trips to Kazahkstan and Turkey followed by Sunday away games at Man City and us. That'll help build the character that's been missing ever since United walked all over them at Anfield.

Brendan's the man for this, I wish him well.

the FA is apparently considering allowing the FA Cup to become the "Emirates FA Cup" in exchange for £30m.

Disgusting.

That's the sort of news that leaves you feeling sad and disillusioned. If the Cup has a price too then everything else has.

It is a disgusting idea.

I just don't get why he insists on tempting fate so often. He calls himself a tactical genius and then loses to Hull. I don't know why he keeps doing it.

Every time he talks himself up, they always lose their next game.

It's f**king brilliant.

A Liverpool supporters' organisation has condemned "greedy" clubs as away fans stayed away from the match at Hull City because of the £50 ticket price.

The Spirit of Shankly group requested fans did not attend Tuesday's Premier League game, and there were empty seats in the away end despite the club having sold the allocation of 2,500 tickets.

Am I missing something here, what sort of protest is it to ticket prices if fans are still buying the tickets but not attending?

All you've done is spunked 50 notes up the wall.

f**king idiot scouse knobs.

FA continue to destroy their own competition...their complete and utter incompetence has no limit

The FA Cup really is becoming increasingly irrelevant compared to where it was 20 years ago.

You now have a final that kicks off at 17:30 but doesn't get the build-up it once did, in a stadium that is the most soulless of soulless bowls which is guaranteed to look empty at the start of the second-half because 30,000 of the seats have gone to people who probably don't give a f**k about the match and won't contribute to the atmosphere and now you're renaming it.

I don't feel anything about not being in the final and I'd quite happily see us put out a youth team next season. Probably won't even watch the match.

That Rotherham manager is a nut case.

read what he said this morning, gave me a right tickle! Fair play to him. Seems a nutter though.

Bollox, if they were in the title race they would have attended.

Yep. Bet they bought those tickets when top four was still realistic and decided to take some moral stand rather than travel to Hull and watch their team serve up more sh*t.

Arsenal fans hold a silent protest about high ticket prices every home game but it doesn't seem to work
