Welcome Loic Remy

I don't think he would have made much difference to be honest, he would have suffered from the same lack of service Torres and Ba etc suffered from.

He's the kind of striker though that would have taken those chances we did create though, I know we had a lack of surface at times but it seemed like when we did make changes we didn't take them and I think Remy would have. I mean tbh we'll never know but I think he'd have made a difference.

4 goals down and still doesn't come on, worse yet Salah was picked ahead of him. What's going on here?

Conspiracy on twitter about Remy, he can only be brought on when we're winning 2-0, otherwise, his footballing skills will be useless.

Today we say happy birthday to Loic Remy! Enjoy the bench young'n.

Perhaps if he'd start a few we wouldn't get hammered by spurs 3-5...

Looks like he wasn't a Mourinho signing.

What makes you say that? Maybe Mourinho wanted him but made a mistake...

What makes me say that? well he never plays him, he hardly ever brings him on and thats despite him playing pretty well every time he has been given a chance.

I'm not opposed to Drogba starting games when Costa needs a rest or we rotate but I am, like a lot on here, getting fed up not seeing Remy. Another goal today and a great finish to boot. Play him, he deserves it, I don't want to lose him.

Can't help but think it's slightly similar to the Demba Ba situation, two bigger named, higher wages players in front of him, despite the forwards we have now being significantly better than when Ba was here, whenever he plays he seems to score or get near to scoring. I really like him and would love to see him get more game time, it's nice to see someone with pace up front for us again.

Remy has practically no hold up ability at all. To play him up front a change in formation is required to accommodate two up top.

As someone has already pointed out, that weakens our midfield strength. Perhaps OK for some opponents but not for others.

Drogba's all round game, the different options he gives to the team, is still way, way above Remy's.

Decent performance today. Worked really hard without a lot of support or service. Looked shattered coming off which is probably down to his lack of football.
