Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23

Featured Replies

I think most people can see when there is potential in a player.

With Cuadrado, at not one stage have I had any belief that he belongs at Chelsea. If we compare to a player like WIllian, he doesnt always play well, or do enough, but everyone recognises he has the ability to be very very good on his day, so fans stick with him.

I agree with some posts on here and question the scouting...

If (when) Cuad goes, could we offer him a little dignity I wonder. He's a young man who had something at some point to draw our attention. It hasn't worked out, sometimes things don't, but we wish him well I'm sure.

Indeed Droogs.

Let's also hope he is honest enough to not slag the club off for not getting a chance, and hold his hands up to declare it was on him.

Hopefully Cuadrado is off, he doesn't deserve the abuse he gets off of our fans.

To be fair, as a footballer, if you arrive at a top club, and perform abysmally (which he has) you have to expect abuse.

Nothing should be personal, but his performances have been dire.

312 minutes of football last season and has played about 25 minutes this season. Nice to see our fans give a player a fair chance.

You think he deserves more of a chance?

Come on now. Dont forget JM oversees training, and is actively looking to move him on. Surely that says it all.

Doesn't make it right though, probably the worst thing I can say about football fans is the fans that do give out disgusting abuse.

Depends what is classed as abuse. If he continues to underperform, as a paying customer in that stadium, I think they have every right to vent anger.

As long its kept purely to the football, and not personal, as i said, every footballer will come to expect it.

The disgusting, personal jibes using vile language has no place.

Personal abusive bile, yes fully agree.

But for fans to moan and curse at an under performing footballer, got no problem with that. That's the perils of being a high paid footballer.

Edit: just noticed I have virtually repeated the post above. Soz.
