If he does consider it, Abramovich can block it and make him stay. He will have to be professional. I hope we don't stick him with the u/18s and just freeze him out. If we sell he's got to be worth more than his wages. You usually only get good personal terms if you're at the end of your contract or a free agent. Stick a silly price tag on him to see how serious they are.

Genuinely no idea what we'll do if he goes? We need at least equal quality which IMO leaves us at....

Trouble is we have seen how Costa can be when he's not interested

I haven't got a problem on the money side, people like us in the normal world if we work for A and B decides to pay you obscene money, most would go. It's just down to he wanted to go back to Spain not long ago and now thinking of China!! Professionally it's the end of his career, poor league, 3 year deal, no chance of playing for Spain again. So it would be just about the money.

I think Conte is a terrific manager, but I can't see even him winning the title with that forward line I'm afraid. 

None of us really know what was said, just because the media are saying it, doesn't mean it's true. Let's just wait and see and not panic. 

In all seriousness, as has been pointed out above, I think this will blow over. But it's sickening seeing this kind of behavior pop up again. Lad is way too full of himself. Jose must be having a good laugh right now.

I'm not entirely convinced i believe everything that is being reported at the minute, everything seems to have blown up AFTER it get's out that he won't be playing tomorrow. Why wasn't all of this being reported a few hours ago before it was announced he wouldn't be playing ?

Anyway, if he does leave then he's a bit of a d**khead. Top of the league by 5 points, arguably the player of the season so far, top goal scorer at the moment. To leave now would be a kick in the teeth and shows a complete lack of respect to the club. 

3 quarters of a million a year, is what they were reporting on sky sports. That is £750,000 a week which is just ridiculous. It takes just one world class player like Costa to move to set a precedent for other world class players to move. Really worrying.
