This is terrible news, especially at this stage of the season.  And an uninterested Costa is best just dropping!

Every week now the obscene figures coming out of China are getting getting bigger, what happens when they offer Eden £1m a week. Don't scoff, the way its going who knows.

In all seriousness... I think (hope?) the press are making a mountain out of a molehill.

1) Despite the claims that Diego has refused to train for the past three days, there is footage of him in training on the club's Twitter feed from yesterday.

2) Diego's an emotional guy. If he was about to leave Chelsea every time he had a row with someone at the club he'd probably have never made a single appearance for us.

3) If every transfer bid from China was taken seriously and actually took place, there would be about three players left in the Premier League: Billy Jones, Adam Federici, and Matty James.

4) Despite the reports that Diego has been 'dropped', is it not possible that he's just injured?

 

Extrapolation: Diego won't be in the squad tomorrow because he's injured. He had a row about it with one of the fitness coaches; Conte got involved although no one actually knows what each side was arguing or who said what. It's possible that he is subject of a transfer bid from a club in China; I imagine that is irrelevant. At least some of the 'facts' the press have reported about this are completely wrong or invented.

Conclusion: The press have blown this out of all proportion.

I was just saying similar to my mate who's Chels, I think its a case of Chinese Bid + Injury/row = Costa's off to China.

I hope it's media speculation, otherwise this sport is alienating me so much, I'm thinking what is the point anymore?

I.e.

- A Chinese club bid for Costa (this may not even be true)

- Costa had a row with club officials

Therefore

- Costa had a row with club officials because a Chinese club bid for him.

We should start our own team, you only get paid in the mutual respect and adoration of your fans. I want to be feel the love JT feels. Not from teammate's birds, from the fans.

At the amount of money players are already earning it pretty much becomes paper to them anyway. Costa has already switched continents once, probably doesn't not have ambitions to become the best player in the world any more, much easier to buy his soul.

Slightly worried but I'm sure that Conte has the people skills and man management to keep him on track and be mates again. 

Drogba seemed to be leaving every season and look how that turned out. Hopefully just a minor bust up, there's no way that we will sell him.
