If the €150m figure is true, that's £125m mate. Not even £90m. I'd have been happy if we got £45m for him from anywhere tbqh. What are they smoking in China?

Just seen that mate. Incredible amount of money. Roll on 19th June!

Costa has competed in CL final, yes?  That's pretty good.

Also, at some point money is just more important than winning a football final.  650 k a week would be a ridiculous amount of money to turn down...I certainly understand why he would want to go there.

A player at the age of 28 who is meant to be at the peak of his performance? If he had ambition most people would expect him to play in Europe, win the best comps and participate in World Cups and Euros.

He won't get in the Spain squad now. Yes his getting s*** loads of money and it's not like he wasn't earning enough already. It's something most players do at the end of their careers, new culture and one last pay day. Can't blame them really. Players like Costa and Oscar are good riddance from the squad. Great money for Costa.

The mercenary barsteward has shown since January that his heart is no longer with the club. Get shot of him with a hearty thank you very much and a cheery slap on the back and pocket some decent money that we can spend on a quality striker who wants to win trophies in England and Europe.

Thanks for everything Diego, but it's time you were on yer bike!!

costa (on form) is up there as maybe top 10 striker in europe. it's only because he's so poor at the moment we think that kind of money is dumb. when he was on form when the rumours started in january a lot of us were adamant we should not let him go for less than 100 million.

Just play the next 6 games like the good old Costa, and we will drive you to the airport comes 1/7, that's what Roman's people should be saying to  Costa.

Just like the Chinese real estate market during the boom days, they will 'burn' money to buy top players, that's the only logic. As much as I like Costa when he's playing well, we should sell him when for a huge profit when he's playing sh1t. He will probably score 30 goals in 20 games in China, then get back to crazy again because he doesn't like the local cuisine

Hard to see anyway Costa won't leave the club. I would be very sad to see him go, he is like a cult hero despite his horrendous drop off in form.

If does leave, he'll leave a PL champion one more time

Hopefully he doesn't f**k up our title run and he does leave a PL champion. Ideally winning a double.

I don't care if he leaves now, his professionalism is lower than zero, he's a great player on his day but his head is erratic in more ways than one.

If we lose the title to Spurs I think I'll blame him strongly for it, I'll probably end up really disliking him if he moves.

Just hope we get ridiculous money for him. Going to be a busy transfer Summer for us...I hope.

he won't solely f**k up our title run, but if he doesn't start scoring conte will need to bench him. conte will be as much to blame for continuing with an out of sorts player.

Just checked google, His agent's the devil Mendes, No more explaining needed, Everything makes sense now.

Wonder who's worse Mendes or that small fat bloke who represented Pogba?

Must be incredible to be an agent these days, they are living like the top footballers money wise.

I'd say the agents make more than any footballer to be honest, with their fat fees from every transfer, and a lot of them have probably got up to 50 players on their books. They're like the mafia of the football world

Thank God the free header he put past the corner flag wasn't crucial.

Now imagine Drogba with that gift. Imagine him with his boot laces tied together. Imagine he has both hands behind his back and is handcuffed. Imagine he is blindfolded.

We all know Drogba would still have buried that.

I have been watching Chelsea since the late 60s. The worst two centre forwards we have had in the air are JFH and Costa. Absolutely woeful the pair of them.
