Costa, who can be brilliant when he can be bothered, going to a Premiership club, and in return us getting a middling player Everton are desperate to offload but for whom they have had zero offers? Oh please no.

Wouldn't go anywhere near barkley, so overrated and especially not for the price everton (and seemingly their fans) think he's worth. 30 million

I agree tottaly. Additonally he is injured until the january transfer window anyway at which time his value will be less still.

Far better, cheaper options either in the market or in our academy.

He doesn't have much option left. Either rot in Brazil while being constantly fined or actually buyout his contract in which he won't and Atletico can't find a middle ground atm.

Hmm wonder if that part has to do with lowering the fee for Barkley, who we have been linked with.

Depends if Conte sees the OX as more a wing back or CM then Barkley would be an option in place of Willian or Pedro.

Not a huge fan of seeing Costa in another Prem team. He will score and the media will always say this is what Chelsea left out etc etc...

Not sure about you guys but I'm really not angry at the man. Costa is Costa. You could see this is something he'd do. He has his reasons to want to go back to Spain so it is fair game. It is mainly his own fault the transfer haven't happened yet.
