On his latest Insta story, he's in a gym in Chelsea shorts but can't tell if it's in Cobham or not.

Yea I just saw this came to post it, it's deffo not cobham and those are last seasons but psychologically it adds up to what he said, he still loves the fans and has a good relationship with his team mates if he had any disdain for the club he wouldn't wear the shorts it's not like he is hard  up so he just wore his old shorts, or he might be doing it to be a smart arse

As soon as the word criminal was said, that set him off. I would be the same, Costa isn't the first footballer to come out with this over the years. How any footballer can say they are being treated like a criminal when they are earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a month for doing nothing is laughable and embarrassing.

Didn't Cristiano Ronaldo say something like, he was being treated like a slave, when he was at Man Utd ?

The fact that n Conte and Costa are both too proud and stubborn to back down is just enraging to me. It's a massive screw you to the fans because it's a massive blow to the team not to have him playing as long as he's not been sold

45 mil plus 10 mil in bonuses would be great. Slightly annoying because in the current climate he's worth £70-80 mil, but we need him gone asap with how his attitude has changed.

Yeh but not much takers. Lots of fans would like him at their club but most managers would actually stay clear. The fastest way to lose your job is by being undermined by a player especially a star man. Atletico were always the best cos of his relationship with them. He and simeone are dirty scoundrels so get along well. So I would say that amount I'd fair. Actually making a profit aft er r he helped deliver 2 titles, lots of negative press when he was on the pitch and now he's off it. Was it worth it I'd say yeah some may argue otherwise. Just think some players come to a club stay 3 years and move on. Without helping delivering titles. He's a man you can love and hate but I'd just say I'm glad saga may be near over.

Just hope we don't spend that fee on bloody Danny Drinkwater

If it helps save our season, then I will be fine with spending 40mil on Danny.

We have 2 proper CM/DM and one cesc for a 55-60 game season. Its no where near the ideal depth.
