Ivanovic is great and everything, but he does pick up some really stupid yellow cards.

I'd have to disagree Scott. I think has been a liability rather than an asset from a defensive viewpoint this season. I think he is nowhere near as a consistent as he used to be. I wouldn't be unhappy to see him go in the summer if we could a bit of money for him.

Good game this, we should be leading though, we have had enough chances. When Fabregas got into the area and played it through, someone should have gambled and tapped it in. The goal for them was poor from us. Ivanovic never even needed to touch the Liverpool player for their foul and the marking for the cross was really poor. It's unlike us this season to defend that poor.

We have by far the best defence in the league but some people would have you believe that Ivanovic and Cahill are sh*t.

It was a good game, team is looks good but we still need to improve our attack. Fabregas should bring more work to Remy, Skrtel has no idea how to deal with Remy. We should win this and send Liverpool back home. RLC is looks pretty good, on other side Mikel is really poor.

Eden playing at 50% today, Ivanovic trying to cover his side with hands behind his back and Mikel don't know what positioning is. Atleast RLC is having a good game.

If you want to blame a defender Garry loses his man as usual, this hasn't been a 1-1 game we are outplaying them

RLC has done well.

Been an entertaining game, its hard to be too critical, but this is why Jose has played the same XI almost exclusively all season, Matic would never have lost Gerrard that easily. Still Champions regardless of the result so im not too stressed.

Ah well, bit of a silly goal to concede but he does deserve it for his services for our club.

Mikel's distribution all game has been fantastic, but he is leaving that midfield well open, RLC is obviously not going to have his positioning on point but still Mikel is the usual. Get Matic on at halftime for Mikel, no idea why he is even sitting out. 

We don't look all that bothered going forward. If anyone is going to go on and win, it's looking like Liverpool.

We've attacked well but every time we go down in the left we get into a great position and then just lack a bit of intent and instinct to score, frustrating but I'm still confident

eden is surprisingly below par today. i think the long rest has made some of the players a bit lackadaisical. 

 

i was nervous for loftus cheek, but he's done well. he has been a little safe, but understandable against a strong liverpool side.

Decent first half, lost control towards the end though.

 

Thought Remy has been excellent so far, people complain about his hold up play but whenever I've seen him play he's done a very good job in that regard and today is no expection. Movement has been great as well, players have missed some of his really good runs which is a shame but as long as he keeps going they will find him soon enough.

 

Hazard has been quiet for the past few games, not done a lot today. Willian's passing has been dodgy all game but apart from that he's been fine. Fabregas had a poor opening mins but got better, he's looking for the runs from Remy but can't always find him. At least he's trying though. Baring the marking for the goal and that "shot", Mikel has been great. Bit open in midfield but RLC will learn with time.
