August 1, 201510 yr I've been watching the latest instalments of the PL Legends series on Sky Sports and I just watched the Thierry Henry one. I have a lot of respect for him, without doubt one of the greatest players to ever play the game but I thought at times he came across a little arrogant and even a little deluded (said 11 v 11 in the CL final they would have battered Barcelona) at times. He said that Arsenal are the team everyone wishes they'd support because they play the game the right way. That really annoyed me, the right way? f**king hate that sort of sh*t. Anyway just a minor rant.
August 1, 201510 yr another late goal conceded, another lost for guardiola what a pass from KDB tho, that ginger twat Edited August 1, 201510 yr by havelschayes
August 1, 201510 yr I read today that Sky have pulled out of the bidding for the rights to La Liga - looks like BT Sport will snap those up too. Sky seem to be betting everything on their premier league coverage.

Sky seem to be betting everything on their premier league coverage. Wow, that would make a mockery of Sky Sports 5 if they lost La Liga too. Great news for BT Sport subscribers though.

I think if a Sky aren't careful they're gonna end up f**ked.I think they're gonna need to try and get the FA Cup rights when they come up. Edited August 1, 201510 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
August 1, 201510 yr Sky are losing it because they spent so much on the EPL rights they can't afford to match what BT will pay for the Spanish. Bad news for the subscriber as most will need both for definite now. Edited August 1, 201510 yr by Chelsbear

August 1, 201510 yr I feel for Di Maria, I really do. It just didn't work out in the Premier League. I get the sneaking suspicion that he will end up back at Real Madrid. United will recoup some of the loss, which they could afford to lose anyway, and might even get another player in the process.
August 2, 201510 yr Author Roy Keane says Arsenal players are too interested in their hair looking good, having six packs and taking selfies to win the Premier League. Made me laugh anyway.
August 2, 201510 yr Goodness, those are ugly boots! Still, if the lights fail in the dressing room, they can be located :-) Edited August 2, 201510 yr by Valerie

August 2, 201510 yr JMB - has Di Maria bottled it a bit in your opinion? Don't blame him for leaving, just wasn't the right fit for us and we weren't the right fit for him. Actually feel for him after the whole robbery incident. Only thing is, just wished he lived up to those quotes of "I'm going to fight my way in" etc. Seems like he ran to Paris at first sight. He's a top player on his day and even on his bad days you can see glimpses of his talent, not many can stop him when he's in the mood but we didn't do him any justice by not giving him many opportunities in CM where he had his greatest patch of form in his career but instead we flogged him on the wings after he did well there in September but after a change of system the bench was his new home. Think it's a good signing for PSG, just wish we signed him this season rather than last season now that we have a decent spine. Can't help but feel our forward line looks painfully average now and it'll be another battle for 4th. I'm not expecting huge things from Memphis in his first season in the Prem though he looks talented and driven. Think we might sign one more player, I can only hope it's a big one.
