Unholy Confessions

Featured Replies

1. I also don't think we will win the league but I think we'll take the FA Cup and possibly the Leage Cup. Infact 2nd and both those cups would be a good season IMO.

2. I think in 16-17 we will come back and do something incredible like a treble or a double.

1) Carlo Ancelotti will always be my favourite Chelsea manager, no matter how many titles Jose Mourinho wins for us.

2) I have a lot of doubts about this season, we haven't strengthened anywhere near enough than I hoped and I'm dreading we start as lethargically as we finished last season.

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

OK, now for my confessions.

1)  I appreciated Raphael Benitez for getting us the Europa cup, and I never had the antagonism towards him that others had when he was with us.

2)  I have never been a been fan of Jose, and I see his faults more clearly than others, like the mishandling of de Bruyne, the shipping out of Schurrle, and his love of any player who is Portuguese.

3)  Mikel is average at best, and has no business playing for a top squad like Chelsea (Crystal Palace, perhaps).

4)  I still hate Tommy Ovrebo, with a passion.

5)   I miss Juan Mata.

6)  It drives me crazy that none of young players will ever get a fair chance to make the first team.  One of Jose's biggest faults.

I never liked Graeme Le Saux, he did my nut in and was one of those players who could start a fight in an empty room

I never warmed to Ranieri and was glad when he went

I couldn't stand Jody Morris as a player either, quite like him now though

I'm with you on Jody Morris, he sounded like a bad influence on some of the other younger players. Le Saux is actually a childhood favourite of mine though, he was a bit Costa like in terms of aggression.

As much as I hate the term playing football the correct way. I would love to see whether a manager like guardiola could get us playing in a similar way as his barca team. It would be nice to see us beating the best teams in Europe without playing 10 men behind the ball, and playing counter attack.

i was just about to write the same confession too :laugh2:

i wouldn't mind if jose one day gets replaced by guardiola, until this day i'm fuming everytime he decided to park the bus, i know it's effective but sometimes it costs the team dearly in a very embarassing way just like last season's home leg against PSG. i know it won't happen though with the animosity between them i dont think guardiola would want to come to a club where jose is worshiped

1) Hazard is not our most important player. Matic is.

2) We play worse when Oscar doesn't play despite all the sh*te he gets.

3) Jose hasn't done anything to make us an attacking unit and it holds us back. Passing to Hazard isn't sufficient to win the CL, especially as he goes missing more than most would like to admit.

3) I know Azpi is good but I miss Cole a lot.

4) Jose sucked all the fun out of last season with his antics of treating the fans with contempt and being a bit of a tool, this added to all the other nonsense with the racism metro thing and at times last season was the least enjoyable season in a long time. I actually preferred us last season, both on the pitch and off.

1. The champions league is turd and I find it increasingly difficult to care about winning it again. I often dont even watch the games and if you offered me the league every year from now until the end VS the current situation and a chance of winning it, i'd take the league. I also hate how the bridge doesnt sell booze on champions league nights.

2. Ramires and Mikel need to go. Just go away. It infuriates me to think that they are happy sitting on their arse as a bench warmer and nothing more. They have the chance to play at a high level which is something kids and adults around the world dream about, yet they would (from the outside looking in) remain content to be a squad filler.

3. I get f**king pissed off with Mourinho chopping and changing his mind about signings and acting like everything is OK. I want him to acknowledge the weaknesses in the squad, I'm not expecting him to hang players out to dry, but to come out and say that everything is fine with the squad and that every position is covered is being disingenuous to every fan who can immediately see the glaring weakness that is a lack of squad depth. A simple "yes we would like to add some quality" would put a lot of fans' minds at ease.

4. RLC could make it. But wont. Mainly due to Mourinho not trusting anyone other than his core of players which ultimately results in the squad being absolutely f**king cooked by February.

5. I f**king hate brendan rodgers. He is a total f**king c**t. I also detest that c**t Roberto Martinez and his facetious, snidey c**t mannerisms, and his ability to remain the "nice guy" of football management. Snake c**t.

6. I resent our overly cautious approach to transfers with a one in one out policy. I believe we should be adding at least one quality, proven player each season. This is how arsenal have approached their squad deficiencies over the course of the last couple of years and i think they are now ready to challenge.

7. I dont think we will win the league.

8. I think mourinho will be sacked at the end of this season.

9. I f**king hate London and want to move to San Francisco and take acid.

It's so weird you put 7 and 8, I was going to say those same things but didn't want to be ostracised. I have a horrible feeling that all is not well and that the sale of Cech and a possible lack of funds for reinforcements will bring back 2006/2007. I am a worrier though so maybe I should just try and disconnect instead of reading every little rumour and piece of news I can find. It's probably slightly unhealthy and borderline obsessive.

9 made me burst out laughing. I moved to Missouri for the meth, I couldn't afford acid.....(joke, albeit a bad one, I am no Heisenberg).

1. I can't stand the JCL, FIFA Football Manager generation of fans with a never-ending sense of entitlement and a belief that if the team dont play like Brazil '70 every week all the players are sh*t and so is the manager.

2. I sometimes hanker for another 26 trophy less years just because it would probably resolve point 1 above.

3. I would take Uncle Ken over Commrade Roman every time.

4. The Guillt years were the best and we will probably never be so wonderfully entertained again.

5. I have always known, even early in his career, that Roy Keane is mentally unhinged.

6. Sadly, I'm another who also feels RLC wont make the grade.

I often copy and paste players names because I have no idea how to spell them.

I'll have to hold my hands up to this one as well. Club names is another one.

Like John Terry and Chelsea FC? :p

I've got a shocking one that is in stark contrast to the majority of this forum right now:

1. I don't think we're sh*te, I don't think we need to sign 5 players to win the league and I think Jose might just know what he's doing.

1) i would honestly take a bullet for Mikel. not having anyone saying a bad word about him, coincidentally, i think torres was a complete waste of time and the fascination some people seem to have for him on here is embarrassing

2) salah will NEVER be good enough

3) branislav still cannot cross a ball to save his life

1) i would honestly take a bullet for Mikel. not having anyone saying a bad word about him, coincidentally, i think torres was a complete waste of time and the fascination some people seem to have for him on here is embarrassing

Would Mikel do the same for you?

My confession:

1) Jose is the best manager in the world,

2) Oscar is sh*t and should be sold

3) I think Willian will have excellent season

4) Tebo = Cech

6) KDB will suck at City

7) If Hazard is injured we are f*cked

8) Pride of London blog is run buy bunch of clowns!

9) I don't miss Mata

10) MU will have sh*tty season and LVG will be gone.

11) I need another beer.

Don't have many as pretty outspoken... some of my more unpopular comments at the time though..

1) Peops who don't see what Willian offers play to much 5'aside

2) Ramires is rubbish - I still think this

3) I think Mikel is a top player for what he does and is underrated and under appreciated on here

5) When Falcou was signed I aslo wandered if Jose was planing on repeating his "Eggs and omlets" speach in an attempt to get sacked and move on to Inter, then some one posted it and got slaughtered.

1. Absolutely hate Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers and our games against them are the most important games of the season for me, I would much rather do the double over Liverpool than win the FA cup
