Agreed. 

Pedro can be frustrating though, he tripped over the ball a few times tonight, and he has a tendency to do a step over too many. 

Pedro attacks the space though, great movement. 

Much more direct which is useful. As mentioned above after takes heavy touches or trips over the ball though. Useful squad player to have around.

I got to be honest, he was one of the main reasons behind most victories early on during the season but in the last few games...a total non-factor, useless.

The "best" move from the board was to spend huge money on Pulisic but let him stay in Germany anyway...

I prefer to see Hudson-Odoi every game now, almost don't even care if we lose as long as he's playing.

He's always inconsistent, this why every manager we have had swaps Pedro and Willian all the time because no one knows which one is better. One minute Willian is in great form goes cold and then Pedro is on form goes cold etc.

Before we write Pedro off he has started to form a link up with Luiz via those long range passes over the top. I wouldn't be quick to write him off though do agree at times he seems ineffective.

The other day he found Kante who only had the keeper to beat.

Pedro seems to be taking longer to recover from injuries. Every time he has had an injury with us, it has taken him a little while to get back to his best, but it seems to be taking longer this time around.

He played well today and took his goal brilliantly, but let’s not pretend he turns in performances like this every week. He is a very, very good squad player but you can see that he’s not the player he once was. He can’t start week in, week out. He certainly has a role to play at the club but I’m not sure why you’re using that as a stick to beat CHO with or how that justifies his lack of game time.

He played well second half, but he was terrible in the 1st hslf, and he has been terrible this calendar year in my opinion. 

A big reason we got 3 points tonight though.

Not beating anyone, just making a point. To play the system Sarri wants to play, you have to be solid defensively. Something CHO needs to work on before I see him starting. 

Now there's a vintage Pedro performance for you: did everything at 50 miles per hour, wonderfully disciplined, but the things he did manage to pull off ultimately won us the game.

I've used the analogy before but when I watch him play I'm always reminded of a dog chasing a tennis ball.

Someone on here (it might have been you come to think of it) once said "I bet he does his shopping at a sprint" - I've always liked that line, repeated it to others too.

I’m not sure what Kepa was doing there - Did he already know Pedro was there? 

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I am fine with him leaving in the summer, especially considering our 30+ rule with contract extensions, and the crop of great young players we have in the academy or out on loan. Who knows, maybe we could sell him for decent $ to Middle East or China.

Very little time to react and away from him. Remember Cech used to do that all the time and watch balls fly past him.

He signed a 1 year extension at the start of this season and following the injury to CHO I can't see him going anywhere. 

Id rather he stayed than Willian as he is much bigger goal threat than Willian but im open for both of them leaving.
