Best performance I've seen from us in ages

Be nice for the fans to see a couple of kids come on, rather than the boring and predictable.

We've just won the biggest game of the season so far, pretty sure the fans don't really care at this point.

Excellent display, very solid, some lovely interplay between the attackers, good displays from pretty much every player.

Good second half performance from us, defended well and and attacked well too, good stuff.

 

Now we need to take this performance into the league. We need to find a way to make space for our attackers. In the league we have been found out, Mourinho needs to come up with something different.

He had just agreed to put in £100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 onto a new stadium! And as long as his son takes over, we may not live to see the day Chelsea hit bankruptcy in about 150 years! (Unless we're still a large brand, then someone will buy us.)

I was confident before the game and very happy now having qualified top of the group. Now let's sort out the PL.

Good performance, although the CL is very different from the PL. We were able to counter a lot today because Porto needed to attack us all game, which opened up a lot of space, which is why we were often running at their defence or at their keeper. In the PL we will be right back to facing 8 or 9 men behind the ball and them countering us, which is where we struggle so much and end up faffing around on the edge of the box and losing it. So we'll have to see if we can translate any of that back into the PL.

Absolutely buzzing.. very clinical performance. We are happy. Matic MOTM by a mile. He was like a wall.

This is what happens when Fabregas isnt in the team. Other midfields walk past fabregas..thats why other teams get so many chances.

Having ramires and oscar..weve got legs..pressure from everywhere. It works, modern day football demands it.

This is the way to build confidence, then the football will come. But you need solid players in there first.

And I do think its taken 3 months for these players to get fully match fit. Massive oversight in preseason. Wont be making that mistake again I assure you.
