Chelsea are interested in signing James Rodriguez next summer, according to reports in Spain.

The Colombian is considering a move away from the Bernabeu next summer, according to Spanish website Don Balon, after growing frustrated with life under Rafael Benitez.

 

And Chelsea's chances of signing the forward could be boosted by him and Jose Mourinho sharing the same agent, Jorge Mendes.

James is exactly the type of player many feel the club need, especially with Eden Hazard struggling to recapture his stellar form from the past couple of seasons.

If he really wants out, will they keep a player who doesn't want to be there? It's not like they don't have attacking players already and I wouldn't be surprised if they bought the goal scoring star of the next Euros next summer. Who ever that may be.

1) Should have got him along with Moutinho ages ago like AVB wanted. 

2) They won't sell him, unless it's silly money, better chance of getting Isco. 

3) Rafa won't be there for long anyway if it's true that many players are unhappy

Key point. What are the chances Rafa is still in charge come next season? Id put more money on Conte being there than him.

Why would they swap one of their best players for a player who wouldn't get into their bench.

I'd rather keep hazard.. but in response to the integrity of this news, I'd say nonsense.. as much as I dislike real madrid, most of players don't want to leave them unless is forced..
