Lol now that would be funny to hear around the bridge.

Welcome back guus. Personally if he does a good job I would not mind him staying longer this time.

If we had a few English players perhaps, I don't think Harry has experience of managing a bunch of prima donnas who (on this season's evidence) seem to think they can just turn up to win games

Simeone speaks little English? Could be a problem

That is so wrong, how many players have English as a first language, most spoken language could be Spanish/Portugeese.

What about Pinocco at Spurs?

"I need to have a complete review and insight into the club and once I have that, measures need to be taken."

I'm not sure what Guus means by that. He's only here till the end of the season, so it won't be up to him, but rather a new long term manager what measures should be taken to rebuild the squad.

Otherwise, I'm on board with his appointment. He's got experience and the right personality for the job he was offered. And I enjoy his style of football.

Who is to say guus does not go on to be our director of football after this?

Does anyone recall what his preferred tactics and lineup was last time around. Did he make any signings?

Guus kind of just stuck to the main team like Grant had done in his stint, Infact I think Guus deserves a lot of credit for setting us up ready for Ancelotti, he really brought back the teams confidence. No he didn't make any signings in his time, he came after the transfer window.

Don't think he'll have any say in the signings next month especially if he leaves in the summer

Least we know this time for sure the players coming in (if any) will be board choices

The may be, or could they be the picks of out next manager? The answer of atleticos boss were interesting in they lacked the complete denial I expected from him. I guess he is interested.

From what I am reading he does and he wants some signings to improve the squad - So I expect not only for him to have a say but also for us to make some major signings.

Well a difference between his stint last time and his stint this time is he's here for a transfer window now. Whether or not he has say in the signings is another matter, I except any signings we may make to be club signings.

Sunderland were woeful, most of that game. One of the few sides worse than Chelsea atm.

They were just strolling around the pitch, giving everyone acres of space. That moment where Oscar literally walked through about four players with everyone just clearincle a path for him, summed them up for me.

They got better after the goal and gave it a bit if a go. Indecisiveness of the defence made things harder than they should have been.

There was some good play, some good movement and a bit more freedom in their passing, a lot more bodies in the box, too, but there won't be too many easier games.

At least it was a confidence builder.
