I really want Simeone.

His style is not the same to Jose's at all, just the fact Atleti are very hard to breakdown is where people draw similarities but it's not the case. People hated Jose for his antics, god knows what they'll be like with Simeone constantly bad mouthing officials, throwing his hounds up and down and going mental when his team scores not to mention the amount of bans he gets.

Tell you what though, they'd be none of this bollocks we've seen this season. If you don't want to run and put your heart into it for the team in order to get a result then you can wave bye-bye to your career at the club. I'm looking at you, Eden, if you stay.

Well said!

Athletico Madrid hit with transfer ban too, any chance Simeone might want to come Chelsea where he will be able to buy players? Big IF but it would be great if he was our new manager

I do want Diego Simeone he will fit with Chelsea more than Pep.  His teams play like him aggressive attacking football. And  with the tansfer ban now in place he might see it as time to move one especially with Pep coming to  premier league

On a more serious note, Pep will end up here sooner or later, because Roman wants him to. Maybe we should just get it over with.

Cheers,

Butch

What has changed since the last time Roman tried to get him? Outside being without CL football

Hasn't been the clamour many expected for mourinhos signature among the top clubs in Europe, although it's unlikely to happen until the end of the season.

Won't be surprised if we see simeone here in the summer.. Jose primed for united who will surely be giving van Gaal the bullet at the end of the season.

A year extension for Hiddink with Drogba as his number 2 wouldn't surprise me either with a view to Drogba taking over permanently for season 2017/18.

Drogba taking over in a year? That would be an absolute terrible idea lol. Not even Chelsea could be that stupid

i know what your saying, but why? you either have it or you don't if you ask me

Didnt suggest it was a good idea.

This is Chelsea. Tell me when anything ever makes sense.

Just overhaul the defence. Zouma's improving but imo he isn't a definite starter yet. Cesar should be the only one old face in a new defensive line-up next season. Sorry but for me we need to move on from the 'makele' type of DM. We need one in De Jong's mould who will tackle/foul the sh*t out of opposition midfielders. Nainggolan would do perfectly.

Reports in Spain (According to DonBalon, don't know if creditable), Roman's willing to offer Simeone 7.65m/yr in wages and Atletico think he might find it too tempting to resist so they have Sevilla's coach lined-up as replacement. If true, let's see how it develops.

how can there possibly be one or two top managers out there available? we need to look to look around and pick someone less known with a good football philosophy. zidane has just taken over real and he's only managed the youth team. i would like a lesser known manager who could surprise a few people and gets us playing nice football.

Carlo! Actually no, I don't want him in charge of this mess :-/ and whilst I don't think he's an option at the moment I do this Mark Highes has gone under the radar a bit. I know he's ex-Chelsea and yes that is why he's popped into my head but it will be interesting what happens should he get Stoke into Europe.
