First I would like to apologize for my english, hope it'll be good enough to talk about chelsea and soccer in general with you. I'm a Juventus supporter, and since Antonio Conte signed up for Chesea, I became even a fan of your team. I just wanted to wish you an umbelieveble season, I'm pretty sure you will win the Premier couse Antonio Conte is the best coach in the world. As you know he spent many years plaing for Juventus, and in 2011 when he became our manager he found a team wich had just the name of the "Old Lady", but everything else (grit, tenaciousness, in one word the "DNA Juve") was gone, lost with the changes that the big scandal of 2006 took in the team. The team was embarasing, we reached 2 times in a row the seventh place in the league (2009-2011). Well, he did an amazing, umbelievable job. He trasformed some good players (Bonucci, Barzagli, Chiellini) in stars, a "cheese" defense pack in a wall. His forwards were Matri, Vucinic, Quagliarella, just normal players, with them he won the Italian league against stronger teams. Pirlo was almost an ex soccer player, he gave him other 4 years in his career. I'll be always really grateful to Antonio, couse if Juventus now is back in its traditional power and coat of arms, it's just thanks to him. Enjoy your season, I'm sure you'll appreciate him and his job, couse for him his job is more important than everything else. Come on Blues! Good evening dear friends, I'm so glad to see I was totally right about Antonio, I know what he can do and I didn't have any doubt about him and how could have been the story of this Premier. Congratulations, I'm looking forward to meet you during next season of champion's league, even probably it would be the toughest match of the season. Come on Blues! Come on Antonio!!

He had been after Cuadrado at Juve and in fact one of the reasons he quit Juve was the failure of their board to get him Cuadrado (among other targets). But the lad preferred to continue at Juve this season, which in hindsight looks like he made the perfect decision as he's about to win a treble there. But yes, Conte has been immense. Next season present a different kind of challenge for him and I hope he passes with flying colours again. The Manchester clubs will be better, as will Liverpool and Spurs. Arsenal will be Arsenal. I'm sure Conte also wants to win the CL. There are reports that he felt sad when Allegri took his Juve team to the CL final the season after he'd left for the Italy job. He probably has a chip on his shoulder about that, especially seeing as essentially the same Juve team (in terms of players) are in another CL final and could win it this time. Hopefully the board backs Conte and gets him all the players he wants. It feels a bit like when we got young Jose back in 2004 but with a better twist to it. Hopefully this is a long and successful marriage. To be honest this season Juventus is more complete and strong than the Antonio's ones. Of course, we lost Pirlo (but he used to walk into the field being not intense as a soccer player should be and that's the reason couse Antonio had to defend him and the team with a 352), Vidal and Pogba, but we got Sandro, Dani Alves, Khedira, Pjanic, Mandzukic, Dybala, Higuain and Cuadrado, totally another team compared to the Antonio's one. Antonio spent 4 windows of transfer-market asking for good wings, he never got any one from Juve, he was right when he quit. But he also made a mistake, he was not a good psycologist when talking about the chances of Juventus for the Champion's league, he said: when you have to go for dinner in an expansive restourant, you can't pretend to star there with just 10 euros! For a coach, his players have to be the best players in the world, with his words he humilieted his team and their esteem (hope it's the right Word). I'm pretty sure he learned the lesson, so far I think that was the only mistake he Made in his career. Edited May 16, 20179 yr by ale0306

May 19, 20179 yr Wasn't it obvious it was a fake video? Talksport always post videos like that of foreign players and managers with deliberately funny fake translations.

Aside from the fact that it was clearly a parody, to be precise Conte was never accused of match fixing but of failing to report one, arranged by a couple of his players in Siena at the end of the season. The whole accusation was a farce relying only on the word of a self confessed match fixer and felon who made a deal with the prosecution to get a more lenient penalty. For all those who know Conte's character it is hard to believe he ever accepted to loose a game for any reason even less so to cover up for some useless scumbags players he had the misfortune to manage and in facts all the other players including the other 2 involved in the fixing denied having shared their plans with Conte. That of course is well known also to Neapolitan supporters, but since they hate juve they have with simple truths like that the same difficult relationship they have with sense of humour and with the respect of sport rivals. On that note I would like to congratulate you for your great season, I had absolutely no doubts since you signed Antonio who is at present one of the absolute best if not the best manager in the world. I am also equally sure that Chelsea will do even better next year, when he will have more experience and better players, provided that the board is wise enough to work with him on transfers. Love to get the perspective of Serie A fans especially on issues relating to Serie A (players, managers, matches, etc).
May 19, 20179 yr Think Roman may have finally found the long term manager he was looking for in AVB. I hope Conte doesn't feel the need to be adventurous like young Jose. It would be great to have him at the club for a long time.
May 19, 20179 yr not sure if this has been covered yet, but Donna Elisabetta & Lil' Vittoria are going to move to London this summer. I know the fish wraps won't want to talk about that. They need controversy at Chelsea in order to sell papers <_<

Its funny how different rags can pull differing headlines from a statement. I do think it is important his wife and family settle in London, whilst it might have been indirectly of benefit to the club without the distractions that family bring it can only aid his own well being having them with him. Charm offensive from the fans to Mrs Conte at the Bridge tomorrow please.
May 20, 20179 yr nice interview with conte by footballitalia http://www.football-italia.net/102842/conte-no-chelsea-without-family?mobile=off Antonio Conte confirmed he won’t stay at Chelsea without his family. “People have been trying to knock me off the mountain for 10 years. They failed.” The Coach has just won the Premier League at the first attempt and is the number one target for Inter. “My objective is to lay the foundations so Chelsea can continue to win,” he told La Repubblica newspaper. “This is already a big club, but it’s inconsistent. They won the Champions League, then went out in the first round. They won the Premier League and then finished 10th. Chelsea need to find stability at the top. “I will speak to Roman Abramovich soon.” Whether that is with Conte still at the helm remains to be seen amid huge offers from Inter. “It’s not all happiness and light. The arrival was, but the journey wasn’t. With my wife Elisabetta in January we decided that Vittoria would finish school in Turin, even if she was already registered to start in London. “However, if I am to stay, then they will come and stay with me. It will be a great opportunity for my daughter to live in a foreign country. I’ll tell you one thing for sure, I won’t have another year on my own.” Conte admits it wasn’t easy to settle in to a new country, especially with the language barrier and certain cultural idiosyncrasies. “The lads accepted new methods: very intense training sessions, the diet, the video analysis and importance of details. I feel fortified. I remain intransigent in my work, but I am more flexible. I learned to turn a blind eye to certain things, like players eating scrambled eggs before a game… You have to accept the traditions of a country. “You also need to speak the language, out of respect. I had studied it at school, but had a two-week intensive course. Learning English felt like climbing a mountain: with strong motivation, nothing is insurmountable. “The language is irrelevant if you don’t know how to transmit emotion: many university professors are not good teachers.” The campaign seemed to be veering off track in September with defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal, which is when Conte changed to 3-4-3. “The team would go out on to the field and I didn’t know what was going to happen: that’s the worst sensation for a Coach. Defeat for me lasts two days, while victory is only an hour. “I thought: if I have to die, let me die by my own ideas. My own conviction, my own meticulous work. I am not someone who compromises. I was giving my all and didn’t feel under pressure, but I couldn’t change my nature. The squad respected me and my past spoke for me, including as a player.” Conte surprised many in England with his passionate goal celebrations, which of course are well-known to Italy fans. “It’s spontaneous. At the start, when I hugged the players, they were a bit stiff. So were the fans when I’d dive into them close to the bench. “I wanted to experience English football, so now that I’ve tried that atmosphere, I do feel more complete. It’s not true that there’s less pressure, because in a big club you always have to win. “My management career was like climbing a mountain. People have been trying to knock me off for 10 years. They failed.” Inter’s biggest advantage in trying to tempt Conte away is in his love for Italy. “The enthusiasm of the Italians makes me proud. Speculation on my future is normal, but I demand concentration on the field. “I am in love with Italy. I feel it in my heart in everything I do, even if it took winning the Premier League to get my father to come over. He promised that he’d visit with my mother.”
May 20, 20179 yr That interview can be looked at both ways of course but I'm naturally quite pessimistic so I have to admit it does terrify me the thought that he might not be here next year.
