I wonder when will the media stop orgasming over Klopp and start giving Conte the credit he deserves.

I think thats the best thng to happen.

I dont think Conte wants media's approval to know what a job he is doing.

Let the media be klopp-jose-pep, while we keep doing our job.

I think Liverpool are English media's favourites. They're getting a lot of attention, more than they deserve.

Less media coverage, less pressure. That works in our favour.

Conte also noted how Chelsea had played three games in seven days in the run-up to Christmas – against West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland and Crystal Palace

Very good point I haven't seen anyone bring up. We all play the same number of PL matches over the same amount of time in the long run. Sure we may be playing 3 in 10 over the holidays but it gets leveled out elsewhere.

Perhaps the players will see a different side of Conte after this game....I am sure he not impressed with that performance overall.  Left side of midfield and defence are our weakest link.

Depends on how we go in the FA cup this weekend, may see 1-2 changes next week. For instance, Moses has been great, but his not a natural defender, and crossing hasn't been great either. I think if Zouma comes through this weekend, we could shift Azpi to right wing back and Zouma in the defence 3. I don't think we will miss much having Zouma in the middle and Azpi let no f*er get past him. Alonso is another big concern, and I don't see a natural replacement right now. Cesc needs to get back into the team as well.

All I've seen in the past week or two has been what a fantastic job Conte has been doing, much more than Klopp - despite Klopp having a bigger reputation ad personality.

Not a huge fan of the "media always hate us" mentality a lot of fans (of every club) seem to have.

Conte's team is in a very similar situation as Jose's last championship winning team 2 seasons ago. I hope he won't be too disheartened by the lose, judging by his post match chat he wasn't. I hope he sticks with the brand of football got us this far, and opting to play safe like Jose did after the corresponding game 2 seasons ago.

The media is not giving him credit. Kloop is obviously the flavour of the season. Jose is getting lots of applause to take a 200M team to the 6th spot, they must mistaken his team for Burnley.

200m? That's Pogba alone

I'm not sure where this nonsense is coming from to be honest. What evidence is there that shows the media is not giving him credit? How does that sit when every outlet from the Mirror to the BBC are starry-eyed over how the 3-4-3 has supposedly revolutionised the EPL?

By the way, I liked Conte's response to Emenalo's compliment. This was probably feedback that the club wanted to give him on his first half of a season, and because it was so very positive they made it in a public way. He was very flattered because it was as positive as it gets at this stage, but he remained pragmatic. I think he is well aware of the difficult road that is ahead with Liverpool, Arsenal and all, and tries not to get distracted by the hype around himself. He is really the kind of guy you want to be in charge of things, because this is the attitude that has to permeate the locker room. It had a huge effect, in my opinion, because the players are all a lot more committed than last season. There we see how important attitude is.

Right now, some might say Conte is as good a signing as any player we could've signed last summer!
