December 9, 20169 yr Has Don Conte already matched/surpassed Mourinho with manager of the month awards? Amazing what happens when you are perceived as being "likeable".

December 10, 20169 yr Hat-trick alert. Antonio's mantle is going to be overflowing with gongs by the time May rolls around.
December 12, 20169 yr probably unimportant but i'm getting a tiny bit worried (and sometimes annoyed) of how the crowd constantly sing antonioo antonioo, especially yesterday when diego won us the game and the crowd was chanting his name for 5 seconds and then go back to antonio antonio even after the full time whistle when the players are clapping the crowd, i mean yes antonio deserve an enormous credit for nothing short of a miraculous job that he has done but the players also need a huge recognition for playing their arse off especially diego these last 5 games or i'm just being overly traumatic over what happened between jose and the players because lets be honest not like in the past there's a lot of ego in our current dressing room and it needs to be stroked a bit from time to time Edited December 12, 20169 yr by havelschayes

December 12, 20169 yr Got to say i loved Antonios celebration at the end for the reason he takes West Brom as seriously as City, he has the Fergie like mentality of every point counts, apart from 14/15 we have been average at flat track bullying since Jose left the first time, use to drive me insane under previous managers were we would underestimate lesser opposition especially after a big win (i still get annoyed thinking of losing to QPR at home after a win at Goodison) and therefore drop points. Ofcourse we won't have a 100% record vs everyone outside top seven but atleast we have a manager who will guard against complacency.
December 12, 20169 yr 3-4-3 to start with. Then we switched to 4-4-2 with the Willian sub. Then we went 4-3-3. Than back to 3-4-3 all within the space of about 25 minutes. Can't accuse him of not trying to force the issue yesterday. Credit to him and the players for being so tactically flexible.

Absolutely he knew what West brom was about and going to do and you can see him and the players prepared extremely well for it you can see the work going in on the training pitch

When he gets more of his players in we will be switching tactics a lot i reckon, so it's important to have wingbacks that can also play either on the wing or in a flat back four and CBs who can play in a three and a two.
December 12, 20169 yr Well boring Pullis' tried and trusted 6,4 formation nearly bored us to death, if he is tactically aware, then Conte must have God like tactical status, fair play to the imminently likeable and skilful 'Don Conte'
December 12, 20169 yr Still worries me with sub patterns but we've won 9 in a row, so he gets a pass... for now Edited December 12, 20169 yr by TheChelseaBlues

December 12, 20169 yr Have to say, if we manage to with both our away games coming up this week we will be in a fantastic position to go on and take the title after roughly half the season is gone. Two really, really important games coming up.

Slow your roll bro - still trips to manure & lpuke on the schedule - spudz & man citeh will be waiting to ambush CFC as well - one match at a time & hopefully by May we can have a sigh of relief & sing our Cesc Wears a Magic Hat song again OOOOOOO Fabregas is Magic he wears a magic hat he could have played for arsenal but he said phuck no that he passes w/ his left & passes w/ his right & when we win the league again we can sing this song all night Edited December 13, 20169 yr by robdog
December 14, 20169 yr Believe it or not he has been the difference between us & our competitors so far, other managers appearing more & more 1 dimensional and finding difficulty adapting tactics to the various demands within the Premier League.
