Jose Mourinho thread

Don't believe a word this useless leech is saying, a yes man puppet who would tell his boss that the sun is blue if he wanted to hear that. A person with absolutely no qualification to do his job is a major part of this club, don't need to know more to realize why this board is a complete joke and the sad state of it.

Emanolo "What happened was not premeditated.  decision was taken to protect the interests of the club. whilst there is huge sentiment for the individual who has done so much for the club The fact remains the club is in trouble,  there seems to be a palpable discord between the players and the manager and we feel it was the time to act. the owner was forced to make a very tough decision for the good of the club."

Chelsea is 1 point above relegation and that is not good enough. Anyone can understand that this club is in trouble and something has to be done.

Question: "People will question the part of the players, what role if any have they had in this?"

Emanolo "People need to remember this group won the league and league cup, sweated blood, did it in style, showed commitment. They played to instruction and adhered to everything the manager asked them to do. The players now need to prove people wrong, show a certain level of commitment to try to get the club up the league table. That's what they are supposed to do and I believe that's what they have been trying to do"

Sorry guys this isn't exactly verbatim I was typing while listening to him on Chelsea TV

Have to say, I'm pretty angry at a few players, probably the most I've been angry at multiple players in my life.

Mourinho made himself the target of public ridicule defending Costa and look how he repaid that. I want Costa out of the club, he's not good enough for all the crap that's gone with him and players not putting the shift in for the money they earn is unacceptable.

Hazard though... It's looking increasingly likely he faked that injury, has he been half arsing it all season?

Ivanovic was one of the standout terrible players before the rest of the team dropped to his level. Was he half arsing?

Jose went out fighting, the same certainly wasn't true of a portion of the first team squad.

Create an attacking philosophy - Failed

Bring in youth - Failed

Change your confrontational behaviour - Failed

Don't undermine the club in public - Failed

Own up to your failures. Stop blaming others and formulating conspiracies - Failed

Add to all that, we're 16th, 1 point from the relegation zone with half of the season gone. Hard to argue Roman didn't make the right decision.

Won the league - success

Won the league and cup - success

We should have supported him, not sacked him.

Very disappointed in Roman.

What a sad situation, all that sodding talent, and look at us, a rich mans QPR.

We've won more league titles in the past 8 months than they have in the past 133 years!

Well my fellow Shed enders i haven't been on for a while but thought i would pop in and give my opinion on the whole saga...

Here we go again on to the manager merri go round saga with every Tom, Dick and Harry going to be linked!!

I feel sorry for Jose after all he has done for this club and careers of many players he has been treated again as many of our legendary personal in the past badly.

He deserved the season and deserved to ship out the players that was not willing to give 100% they earn a fortune and play for the club so if they are not willing to give everything for the badge then jog on!!

he can not go from the greatest manager in the game to a bad manager over night which suggests he lost the players who really knows if the Eva situation had a factor in this?? If this is the case then the players need a good hard look in the mirror for virtually throwing games by not giving 100%.

Jose will always be the greatest manager we have had and i can not see anyone filling his shoes, he had the media hound him all season with menace that was uncalled for and hounded every day!! this would not happen if he was at another club.

I will miss him and his ways goodbye Mr Chelsea.

I can't seem to some up my whole feelings tbh, bit ill give it a go

- I'm sorry Jose has gone but part of me thinks it was the right call, it hurt like hell the first time this time it just feels strange.

- The players are f**king cowards and even if they have a problem with the manager they should be willing to play for us the fans.

- Football isn't what it once was and its moments like this where I feel like walking away from it altogether.

Bobby - what do you make of this from Emanolo?

A lot of us have been grumbling about the way the team has been playing - he's basically saying the team was playing exactly as Jose demanded. If that's true, the players could be massively frustrated and feel they've been trapped in a playing style that has not allowed them to play as they can. We all know things changed after WHL last January, maybe Jose just couldn't risk letting them loose again and that has gone on for month after month.

Of course I don't think the tactics have helped but I really think the players are cowards for putting in the performances they have. There no excuse for them to look as disinterested as they have at times.

I know - I have read that Neil Ashton article in the Mail. Again, if the picture it paints is near the truth then is shows a pretty unhappy ship for quite some time. Maybe we will see a bounce back now that he has gone, it's hard to know.

Sad he's gone, Wish him well. Will be interested now to see which way the club go for a replacement. People should be careful what they wish for. I hope people don't moan few months later they don't like the replacement.

I hope the board take a look at the performance on Saturday. If we turnover Sunderland with a great performance I would be angry with the players. They aren't going to change their game plan in two days so it would surely mean they've got him the sack. We pay a lot money to watch, travel etc, take time off. These players should perform every week. In the real world you work hard and perform or you get the sack. Players only ever get dropped never sacked ( unless breaking the law). Maybe performance related pay might sort a few out.

You've more or less summed up my thoughts there. I've been sitting here trying to put it into words for the last 30 minutes or so and just can't.

I belive Jose resigned to prevent further damage to himself and stay away from nay relegation fight

Club is relegating...manager walks away..players exposed.

no secrets here

We need sturdy big players to compete in EPL

He didn't resign though he was sacked

it's hard to know what to believe isn't it? Saturday is going to be a very interesting day

Might be a rather unhappy bridge. Fans may back lash like we did with Rafa.
