December 18, 201510 yr The coaches we lost due to player mutiny is increasing - This is ridiculous. I hope when we get the next coach, we get him the players he wants and also sell some of our prima-donna's. The old Chelsea team had in then Leaders - Drogba, Cech, Terry, CArvahlio. Lampard, Makalele, Essien, Ballack. The current team hardly has any leaders. Great athletes who are divas but not leaders. We need to invest on more well rounded professionals with leadership capabilities.
December 18, 201510 yr Come to think of it, I didn't get chance to say thank you for his work during his 1st stint.. well, thanks for what he had done before at that time.. no doubt still a quality manager but only different philosophy to what I have in mind.. Hopefully he could get the new job asap, for the good of all parties..

December 18, 201510 yr Thank you Jose for everything you have done for Chelsea. I never thought I would see us win the League in my lifetime, but we(you) did, three times. Yes we had our ups and downs, but that happens in any great relationship. When the dust settles we will remember the good times, the many trophies, the success the parades, the last days of the Season lifting the Premier League trophy. Wishing you the best of luck wherever you go (except Manchester United) ::clap2::
December 18, 201510 yr My late (life long Chelsea fan)Father had a saying. "Just when you start to believe that Chelsea cannot possibly let you down any more.............................They will surprise you, because they always shoot themselves in the foot!" NEVER was that statement more apt Dad.
December 18, 201510 yr Im really greatful for all Jose has his done. But I think he had to go Transfer failures Bad performances Stale tactics Sticking with the same poor players Eva Carneiro / Fearn situation FA bans / fines All of these led to his demise, and as much as I love him he had to go. If the players become great again, they can all f**k off too.
December 18, 201510 yr It was his job to handle the players and he did a bad job at it. He will bounce back. I just hope it is not ManU...
December 18, 201510 yr I haven't had time to comment about this much so i just picked out a bunch of quotes that caught my interest. Who has since Alex Ferguson to be fair, I don't think Wenger can count cause his Arsenal teams in the last decade have been shadows of his title winning sides. I think it's just modern football, the long term manager is dead. You know what ? i think you're right, this is modern football. Maybe i was naive to believe that Mourinho could stay here for 10 years. If you stop and look at football around the world, you won't find many clubs who have stuck by a manager for years and years anymore. Managers like Wenger are rare now, he is probably the last manager who will be allowed to get away with so many failure season's. You can guarantee that if Arsenal's next manager has half as many failure season's as Wenger, he will be sacked. A lot of people say that the constant manager changes is stopping youth development at the club........i'm not 100% sure i believe that anymore. Other club's manage it when they change managers, even the top club's, i believe we can do the same too, and i believe Mourinho has had many opportunites to do that, but he didn't. I am gutted that Mourinho has been sacked, i was desperate for him to sort himself and the team out, but i can't ignore the fact that he has got almost everything wrong this season. I found out via text from a MUFC fan who stated he was literally jumping up and down at the prospect of JM being their manager next season..... I think it's a bit hit and miss with United fans. Some want him, but a lot of them don't, they don't like him or his tactics. My brothers are both United fans, one of them doesn't want Mourinho anywhere near United, the other one can't make up his mind, and the majority of United fans phoning into radio shows don't seem to want him either. Thought Roman speaks to us supporters by sending billion pounds on players these last 12years, and going to spend more millions on a new ground for us, we would be down in the lower divisions with out Roman Abramovich, some people are so ungrateful. I don't agree or disagree with Mourinho being sacked and i won't be moaning at Roman Abramovich for this, i think that would be unfair. He has given us so much over the years and since the Benitez sh*t, i think he has tried hard to make it up to the fans. Bringing Mourinho back was his way of making it up to us in my opinion, and i think if it wasn't for him listening to fans, he would have sacked Mourinho about 2 months ago. I would have preferred Mourinho to stay on, but i can completely understand why he has been sacked. The season has been a joke, and if it was anyone but Mourinho making the mistakes he has made this season, the majority would be fine with that manager getting sacked. Usually i am on Mourinho's side over most things, but i can't think of much that he has said or done that i agree with this season. I feel like he has lost himself a bit and need's a break from the game. I also think we shouldn't give up on manager's getting longer runs at the club. I think if future manager's have us somewhere like 8th with a chance of turning it around, i think that manager will be safe, but this situation is very different. We are in 16th place, 1 point above relegation spots and showing absolutely no signs of improvement. I think if Mourinho had us in the top 10, he would be safe, but 1 point above relegation spot's a week before Christmas is not acceptable for a club in our position. By the way, i don't think this is all Mourinho's fault, certain players have been nothing short of embarrassing themselves. One of the players in our team is supposed to be one of the best players in the world, he hasn't even scored 1 goal so far this season. No matter what tactic's a manager put's out, there is no way we should be in 16th with the players we have. Just wanted to add, whilst I think it probably was the right decision to let Jose go, Emenalo is a disgusting little vermin and I hope he's next out of the door. The more I think about it the more annoyed I'm getting about that Emenalo interview, why is that parasite speaking for the club? It should have been Buck, and the way he referred to Jose as "the individual" makes me sick, show the man some f**king respect. The mans poison, he's everything that's wrong with Chelsea just now I don't say much on Emenalo, but i don't like or trust this guy one bit. I hate this guy sitting behind the manager acting like some sort of spy for the club. He's like a slimy snake. Get rid of him, or get him away from the first team, especially on match days. I wouldn't feel comfortable with him around my team every single game if i was a manager. Edited December 18, 201510 yr by Scott Harris

December 18, 201510 yr At times like this we need to remember that ABOVE ALL we are Chelsea fans!We need to support the club, the players and who ever comes nextAnd people turning on Roman Abramovich is madness without him there wouldn't be a Chelsea~Mourinho relationship in the first placeKTBFFH and support the team.
December 18, 201510 yr Still can't digest the absurdity of what happened yesterday. I feel like the game is ruined. With one suicidal move they took the passion out of it, threw it away for nothing. Disgusting, I will probably never see the club in the same way ever again. As for Abramovich, he's nothing more than a piece of paper, tell me now that he is replaced with someone with the same amount and he can f**k off and take his board of groupies along with him.

December 18, 201510 yr Hiring Mourinho was never going to be for the long term. Hes a great short term manager, but over time he just exhaust every resource available and his record of bringing through academy players speak for itself. Will always be a Chelsea legend, but it was time. We are more then José, I certainly wont stop supporting Chelsea just because hes gone

December 18, 201510 yr Does anyone think that mourinho would have considered coming to Chelsea if he hadn't been given carte blanche to buy any player he wanted?
December 18, 201510 yr What's the difference between the vilified Florentino Perez and this club's Roman Abramovich? The negative? The same, both are harming their clubs with short term madness and regretting their decisions a few months later when they realize the damage they caused with their impulsiveness. When they know it's irreversible, they throw money at it or doing more damage to the system with desperate attempts to solve the issue. Apparently both are also stupid enough to repeat their worst mistakes and now, after years of being in the game, it's never going to change. It costs nothing to stop being a Chelsea supporter. Take a breather from everything football related then join him at his new club in the summer :). In moments like this? I wish I could, but unfortunately I can't control it. December 18, 201510 yr Jeez people, I wanted JM to stay too. But Chelsea is above that. Keep your heads up. I am gutted he is gone ... but I am already looking forward to see him somewhere else, tearing up his critics. I just hope it isn't in the PL, but if it is ... it will be richer for it.
December 18, 201510 yr Not easy reading. It's very hard to know the absolute truth behind the statements in this article but we all know there will be an element of truth in them. Paints a picture of an unhappy set up from the tail end of last season followed by the bizarre outbursts we had for the first couple of months of this season and an eroding relationship with a wide group of players. I would say though that if Costa wants to go - let him go asap. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/managers/jose-mourinho/12056813/Revealed-The-inside-story-of-how-the-axe-fell-on-Jose-Mourinho-at-Chelsea.html

December 18, 201510 yr Jose Mourinho Mourinho Mourinho legend you will not be forgotten. Still can't belive this has happened, so wrong.
December 18, 201510 yr Disgraceful decision but at least we could see it coming this time. Credit to those board members who fought to keep him in his job this long. Shame the majority of the board and the playing squad didnt have the same loyalty and balls as them. Loyalty... One of Mourinho's key qualities that is conspicuous by it's absence in this group of players. Mourinho made himself look stupid early in the season by defending the indefensible and taking all the blame for defeats instead of the players. How do they repay him? By not giving a f**k and getting him the sack. We're currently the Premier League Champions. The players have proven this season that they dont know the meaning of the word 'Champion', much less how tobehave and perform like one. Costa came back overweight, that's not what a Champion does. Hazard has shown none of his talent from last season. Not like a Champion. Even JT, a true Champion, has been lacking in his most outstanding quality - leadership. Champions are the ones who will fight for every ball, run every hard yard, galvanise those around them, lead by example and regardless of the situation they are in they will work their nuts off to be successful. These players are not Champions. They are cowards. No matter how badly Lampard, Drogba, Cech etc played we knew for a fact that they were giving 100% and trying to improve. I dont see Costa working hard to improve, nor Hazard nor Fabregas nor Matic... And once again the board have bottled it by deciding to back these mercenaries instead of the 1 guy that we KNEW was giving his all and feeling the pain of every defeat. The 1 guy that acted like a CHAMPION through all this was Mourinho, and he paid the price for it. The club needs to grow up. Brilliant post, really sums up my own feelings perfectly.
December 18, 201510 yr Please try No. JT: “Thank You doesn’t seem enough. Sad sad day. Gonna miss you Boss. The Very Best I have EVER worked with, unbelievable memories together #boss #friend #specialone #bestever @chelseafc”
