I think our run of 13 games undefeated has upped everyone else's performance levels; had this been a 'normal' season the performance levels would not be so high and certainly a team with 13 wins in a row would be at least 10+ points clear.  I think we will have a clearer picture of the title race at the end of February and it would not surprise me if there are 3 teams all level going into the last couple of months of the season.

Brilliant!!

Zaha is seriously crap. Just head down, do a few stupid step overs and then give the ball away, usually by running straight at the defender.

Based on this showing, Palace will be going down with Swansea and Sunderland.

Little scary that Alli and Kane is in such form before Wednesday.

Yeah but they've got to play against Hazard and Costa.

(And Willian and Pedro)

Kane is not a big game player. Come to think of it none of them have the mentality to cope with pressure and big monents. Just like twitchy. Probably the reason he didn't get the England job.

just been playing around on the Premier League website - after 6 games we were 8 points behind City who were top; we are now 10 points ahead of them. That's an 18 point swing in 13 weeks - I know lots of people here know this already but isn't it amazing?

even simpler just look at the position on the table CFC were last season & compare where we are now - that is a massive swing - Uncle Gus did alright

I hadn't realised it was an 18 point swing in 3 months! That says a lot not only about our form, but also about City's. Did Guardiola slip up like this at his previous clubs?

Looking at how the top 6 clubs have pulled away from the rest, we should be thankful that Conte has got us leading the pack and barring any meltdowns, pretty secured CL football next season.

Another poor season out of the CL and I would have feared.

Think we'll get any favours from Sunderland or West Ham this afternoon?

Outside chance of West Ham getting anything from United. If they are at their best they can do something but doubt it. Sunderland will probably be thrashed.

i`m worried that spurs will act like c**ts again on the pitch and us getting involved in a brawl which means well get done by the F.A again and no doubt get points deducted.

Nope, because it was easy for him. In Spain and Germany, you can get away with not having a plan B, in England you need it. You can't keep playing one style of football every single week in England, you must be prepared to win ugly to win Premier League titles.

I don't think we have to worry about Man United personally, I think the way they're playing they will get 3rd or 4th but I don't see them making up that sort of ground on us barring a miracle collapse.

If this wre Big Sam's Sunderland I'd fancy them to take a point but they've been so bad this season and coming off the back of a hammering to a Liverpool side full of confidence after beating Man City I can only see a win for Liverpool. Which of course then outs them within 3 points of us which we can extend back to 6 on Weds night, but that's gonna be tough.
