Very good half there. Just missing a goal. I'm really enjoying this.

Good half from us barring first 5 minutes

They are there for the taking. 

 

Not enough brightness on the ball for me. Good that we keep winning the ball back quickly but think thats as much WHU doing.

 

Oscar needs to push further forward. We have nobody between the lines.

How exactly do those different rules make you less passionate about the refs decisions

Decisions in football are a lot more contentious than in rugby, not to mention the stop in play every 10 seconds in rugby AND they have video technology for pretty much everything

We have played ok, but slightly lacking creativity, not quite looking dangerous enough. I can really see the benefit of having Kante and Matic protecting the back 4, that must be the first half from us for while where i haven't seen the opposition run through our midfield.

Not a bad half - we've pretty much bossed it but the worry is they can bring on Payet.

 

Would take a little 1-0, Eden to net the winner.

Overall we looked in control but I would be tempted to bring on batman to play along Costa to get more help upfront. And maybe take Oscar off

We certainly look better than WH, but the longer we go without scoring the more I fear we could be caught on the counter attack

Good half. Like this new look. Probably not going to run like this the whole 90mins. The gameplan is still not clear and no idea how this ends but I like it.

I think it was a decent half. We were the better team on the pitch, but something is missing in the finishing. I won't be surprised to see Batshuayi replacing Costa in the half, Costa has lost too many balls, he is not in the game. 

 

We're close to the goal, we have to shoot more and play the counter attack faster. I'm feeling the win, come on CHELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are we really playing a 4-2-3-1 ? Oscar is supposed to be the player playing behind the striker, but he looks a bit deeper than that at times. It looks like a 4-3-3 to me.

Hopefully we see cesc and michy 2nd half

Would switch matic and Kante don't think matic gives you anything in there plus Kante can run box to box.

If Conte were to change Matic only RLC could replace him or?

No way, having Matic and Kante both playing is working, it's stopping West Ham running straight through our midfield.

Hope we go 2 up top. Need more of a threat and west ham dont look particularly strong today. One of those games we have to gamble to win otherwise we'll slide towards a 0-0

we probably didn't create a lot because West Ham were sitting deep in their half

they probably will bring Payet on and try to attack more in the second half. let's hope our defence can contain them and our offence can benefit from the situation

Decent half, west ham have had nothing going forward. Ivanovic has been good, which is suprising.

Matic has been pretty poor though, his lack of vision has been frustrating, i really dont think he offers that much defensively to compensate for how likited he looks on the ball.

Fabregas for matic and i thin we will score a few in the second half.

West ham are there for the raking, too many draws last season, lets strat as we mean to go on with a win.
