I'd try to go for Mario Gomez in January if I were Conte. Same skill set as Llorente but more talented. Though I doubt Wolfsburg would want to let him go.

Llorente was a complete waste today. Tottenham lost their dominance as soon as Son was replaced by Llorente.

The latest rumours are that Giroud is off, because Arsenal want too much money a d we've turned back to Llorente, who Spurs want either 25m or Batshayui permanently for.

Just seems like we're determined to sign a 30 something year old striker, just so we can send Michy on loan despite him being as prolific as Morata has been.

If only we were in talks with the 6ft 2 striker at Tottenham, and not the 6ft 4 striker at Tottenham.

i think Conte was asked about Llorente in his presser and said "The summer was the summer, this is a different situation now"  Sounded to me like he wanted him then, but not now
