And yet....something doesn't a huge add up for me. Yes they have a bigger ground than us , but their match day income is less. Their shirt sponsorship deal brings in only half of what we get from Yokohama. They sell far fewer shirts than we do. Their kit deal brings in less than ours with Nike. All a bit mystifying. This is a mockery. Their commercial income for the most part comes from the owner related businesses. There's no chance in hell they can afford to spend what they do and turn a profit without their fake sponsorship deals.

This analysis, which is pretty respected, doesn't see anything amiss with their figures. http://swissramble.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/manchester-city-my-aim-is-true.html Which I find a bit surprising. What is the actual source of their huge commercial income?

Suarez had bitten someone already by then, everyone knew about him, only liverpool were scummy enough to take a punt on someone that volatile. Lets be real, if teams knew what he would become they would be tripping over themselves to sign him. He bit someone again, got sentenced for racism comments and Barca still bought him. If he was a sure thing, teams would have overlooked it. As already stated, Costa threw snot and acted a fool at Atletico. We didnt care and he fired us to two league titles

What is the actual source of their huge commercial income? They're just working on a whole different level. I think a lot of it has to do with City Football Group. They managed to make City a part of something much bigger and now whatever money is involved in that project can be used as a massive "income" for the club. It's just funny how a club that cannot fill their own stadium can spend an obscene amount of money every summer and claim profits. Forget about the fact the we, as a club, have accomplished much more than them both domestically and abroad in recent times and yet apparently they can afford a net spend in hundreds of pounds every summer and turn a profit on top of it, while we have to sell to buy and yet report a loss from time to time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Football_Group#Principles_and_interests https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/dec/01/manchester-city-265m-deal-chinese-investment-group http://www.cityam.com/261211/our-model-has-bright-future-manchester-citys-owners-eye Edited July 16, 20179 yr by abramovich

July 16, 20179 yr He's a c*nt, but a bloody good player. If we sign him then I'd argue it's an upgrade on Costa. Can see it happening tbh.
July 16, 20179 yr City don't need the money why would they sell a top striker, they have no need to do it yet alone make us better, won't happen, not a chance

July 16, 20179 yr Does anyone else feel nostalgic seeing us linked to Aguero? Maybe Manchester United will finally sign Wesley Sneijder as well, he's out of contract I hear.

Once the match ends, they are probably shaking hands and getting on with things. Terry almost got into a fight with Costa a few months before he joined us, Ballack and Terry squared up against each other once too.

July 17, 20179 yr I have always rated Aguero one of the best strikers in the world, but his injury record is not the best and he has just turned 29. He's a much better player then Torres but one of his major strengths is his explosive acceleration, how much longer is that going to be there for him? I guess it's all price relevant, anything around the 40 mark (sounds crazy to say that) and I think it's probably decent value and worth the risk.

July 17, 20179 yr How can this even be a rumour, we don't need someone like him. We could have just stayed with Costa if Aguero does join us. But I rate this rumour even lower than the PEA one.
July 17, 20179 yr Pep doesnt rate him it seems. Would take him in a heartbeat even though hes injury prone.
