Featured Replies

A trickey away fixture dealt with so comfortably. I was nervous before the game and didn't think we would win it but we managed the game brilliantly.

Looking good for us.

I was shocked with 10 minutes to go that the local Burberry shop announced a sale, that's where all there fans went, right?

Sweet!

There is no team playing with this quality, organisation. There is no one who can get close to them.

I can't believe a Chelsea fan can say it was a forgettable game, it was a massive game against a side that always lifts against us days after our nearest rivals won, the pressure was on tonight.  We are now in the run in, we just need to keep winning, in any way possible. The fact their keeper was their man of the match shows we dominated and should have won by 2 more goals, at least. I suppose then it wouldn't have been forgettable.

Agreed mate, but not all that surprising anymore to be fair haha. The only thing I care about between now and the end of the season is winning. If that's all 1-0 wins and the most eye bleeding football in history, so be it.

Most of the time people remember the teams that won the titles, rarely how they won it (outside the invincibles or our record breaking seasons).

The team has progressed immensely - good tenacity, confident one-touch passing, coherent play making, sensible control of tempo, good use of both flanks and good ball possession. Everybody is solid, Costa is subdued but keeps scoring by virtue of being in front of goal - but he has all support from the boys - they were so happy for him scoring, hopefully he will get fired up again soon. Moses blocked a shot that was going in - a great save! Played very well in defense,  has an amazing stamina to run up down for over an hour. Alonso going forward with confidence, cleverly mixing passing and attacking a player in front, Kante is just out of this world - especially how he chased that ball to the line and made it possible to continue with attack. Everybody deserves praise today.

Kante and Hazard were brilliant. Costa was off the pace first half but really improved second half and was unlucky not to have 2. Brilliant turn and shot but an equally top save. Glad Hazard is back to scoring again. BTW, what a piece of skill that was when he laid off the ball with his back, that was a joy. He seemed to go off with a tight hamstring. Hopefully just a precaution and he will be fine for next Monday. Alonso again was solid too, defensively and offensively. Lovely piece of skills he produced to beat 2 players but unlucky did not get his shot away which was arguably a penalty. Special mentions too all the defence who dealt with Carroll excellently. Luiz in particular was brilliant once again. Won his aerial duels and his passing distribution for a CB is just top class. Just love having this Luiz in our team. Would not swap another CB for him. Big 3 points and we just keep going on.

Bring on a Ibra-less United!

I've been critical of Moses defensive work but he did a great job today, I however saw conte do what I've been calling for when when play big games, zooma RCB save RWB and I think that's something we may employ in the future especially when zouma is back on full power. All in all a slick away performance, Haz looking sublime, Diego back on the score sheet again, and plenty of burst bubbles in East London, happy days.

Newly crowned king of media brown nosing Harry Kane will have to score 3 hatricks a game if they hope to come near to us and city's fixture list looks grim for them, added that we look determined as ever , I almost want to call it...but not quite yet, being cocky has more often than not backfired for me, experience dictates to stay reserved.

funny I was watching ESPN FC here in the States & they didn't want to talk about Chelsea cause it was too boring about the Champion's Elect - better to talk about what is happening with The Woolrich Wanderers - can't make this sh*t up

He is pointing at them as if he is telling the off,  "don't do what you are paid to and score goals, how dare you" what a sad twat, although I think football violence is negative things like this almost makes you wish the old terrace lads were about since such epic c**ts still exist, you should be able to enjoy a football match without that stupidity and should be able to take kids with confidence, but failing that I can see why we wanted to be the best, couldn't sleep at night if I let a degenerate like that mug me off, horrid pikeys.

For 91.5 minutes, we played brilliantly. Took our eye off the ball for a split second, and there we go - sloppy.

Nevertheless, 3 points in the bag and looking upwards. Not really complaining, but should have held our concentration for just a little bit longer.

Kante, as usual, our man of the day.

Only complaint was the scoreline!...what an injustice to see 2-1 go down in the record books...in total control for 90 odd minutes and wasted many quality counter attacks...but obviously it was a great night, taunting those tossers in their empty shell of a ground...not that there were many people to taunt by the end...maximum of 26 points required to finish the job.

I thought that 85 points would do the job, so 19 points are enough. However spudz can still obtain 88 points & Man City can get 91. So I see where you are coming from

West Ham fans, most of them leave with 20 minutes to go, unreal passion, yet we have to hear the likes of Martin Tyler blow smoke up their asses for 90 minutes. It's an absolute myth that smaller clubs have ‘better support’

Has Del Trotter would say..."you know it makes sense Rodney..."

Their goalkeeper made an unreal save to what would have been a spectacular goal between diego and hazard

didn't he stop a great shot from Kante as well? I sorta remember a play that came in from the left & a loose ball around the 18 yard line when Kante unleashed a fierce shot, but Randolph was up for the task

Solid performance without ever having to hit top gear but disappointing to let a soft late goal i just as we did against the Gooners, so Conte will no doubt give them a bollocking for that!

Not much to fault really, my only one concern is how sluggish Costa looks lately. Bar that great turn and shot, he was poor last night and it would have been good to see him subbed and Batman given a run out.

Pleased with the win. As a former goalkeeper,of no real ability back in my youth disappointed we lost the goal to them so late on.

Another potential point loss over.

Well done Chelsea.

Slow start to the game but hit them with beautiful counters and got the fully deserved win. Perhaps we could have evaded the late scare but there was no time for the pikeys to return. Brilliant team win with Hazard and Pedro running the show, my man of the match has to be Kante bloody hell how good is this guy? Running all the time making crucial interceptions and helping the attack more last night than he usually does. The defense was rock solid even under pressure and Thibo made a great save from the best chance West Ham had. Conte made a great move bringing in Mati? and Zouma which gave us much needed possession as we slowed the game and bagged the points. Still a long way to go but the team is flying.

Bring on United
