Kyle walker will be sold if city offer 45 mil apparently, if he is 45 then sando is deffo worth 55, mind you I wouldn't mind walker at all but as usual anyone will sell to city but not us for some reason. That's because City have no real rivals. Even their supposed biggest "rival" United will sell to them (Tevez). I imagine Spurs are indifferent towards City. They're definitely NOT indifferent towards us.

I mean that's fans though not the club, but I guess they take in to account the sh*t the fans will kick up if selling to a rival, mind you we bought Torres of a liverpool that was a fierce rival, but they were probably all in on it.

According to Torres' recent account of that period, the board at Liverpool cared more about the money than keeping Torres. They smeared him when he left to save face. This might be the toughest league in the world when it comes to signing players from direct rivals bar Barca to Real transfers. Most people don't consider City as rivals.
June 21, 20179 yr Re Torres I recall Lawrenson on football focus this season throwing in a smart comment advising that Liverpool had conned Chelsea over Torres as he had a knee injury and was no longer the same player.

June 22, 20179 yr “A substantial offer has arrived.” “We have no intention of selling anyone, but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go, because we don’t keep anyone against their will.” “But at the moment there are no such situations and I hope nobody will leave.”
June 22, 20179 yr He'll have to force a move through. I just hope this isn't like last year's Koulabily scandal and we end up with a Micheal Hector, Papy Djilobodji esque signing...

June 22, 20179 yr I think we will get him. So that's Sandro Lukaku and Bakyako. Man spelling is tough. Now if we could just add Sanchez or Rodriguez I'd be happy with the transfer season.

June 22, 20179 yr i wonder why sandro has been so quiet. you would think a player would come out immediately and dismiss any rumours instead of letting this debacle drag on.

I reckon his silence shows that he is currently in contract negotiations with Juve, if he comes out and favors either party (Chelsea or Juve) he loses that bargaining power Personally I think he stay at Juve, I don't believe they would want to lose both there full backs in 1 transfer window & in majority of cases player would give preference to a current club if personal terms are vaguely similar

June 22, 20179 yr Is this guy really an upgrade over Alonso? A great advantage for Alonso is his height which is very imp in this league and also considering that we have lots of short players. And he won a lot lot of headers every match last season. Matic too is going to be replaced by a guy of average height in the starting eleven.

And Alonso, alongwith Cahill and Luiz won the most headers for us last season. And for those headers along the wings, whether in defense or attack, I cant recollect Alonso losing out on any. That tactic to put in aerial balls towards Alonso while attacking, which was used a lot and successfully too, wont work that good with Sandro.
June 22, 20179 yr He's not average 'compared to' anyone. An average is a median value, it's taken from a broader base than just two. He's shorter not average. This height obsession does my nut in anyway. If a player is sh*t at jumping, A la Matic, then a shorter player with a better jump will win headers majority of the time. Alonso is great, I love him, but Sandro is world class, alonso is very good but not on his level. If we need more height play alonso against the likes of West Brom, but majority of teams don't just thump balls to the back post hoping ofr the best, and i'd rather Sandro there for his pace against fast wingers. There's always pros and cons, but Sandro's pros far outweigh his cons Edited June 22, 20179 yr by RMCM

There's always pros and cons, but Sandro's pros far outweigh his cons I also think that the main reason why we lump it up to Alonso when going forward is because we aren't very good playing it out from the back on that left hand side. Having Sandro there will force us to keep the ball on the floor and pass it around better, which is something i am sure Conte wants when playing 3 cb's and 2 wing backs.
