April 24, 20179 yr Who do you think is better fit for us... Morata is very good player and if he comes I'll be very happy but personally I like everything about Lukaku and would like to have him as our number 9. He needs to come home... Edited April 24, 20179 yr by zile
April 25, 20179 yr Morata better technically, Lukaku better physically and also proven in the prem. Also loves Chelsea. Would be happy with either, just anything but Diego next season.
April 25, 20179 yr Lukaku for me - i think if he comes back we have a striker for the next 8-10 years.
April 25, 20179 yr definitely Morata, he is comfortably the better player, and also a big game player
April 25, 20179 yr Morata hes proven under contes system and hes proven outside the epl. Lukaku is good but unless we get rid of costa and batsu we dont need a strong striker.
April 25, 20179 yr If Hazard/Diego stay - Morata If Diego leaves/Hazard stays - Lukaku If Hazard/Diego leave and we sign Sanchez - Morata If Hazard/Diego leave and we don't sign Sanchez - Lukaku Edited April 25, 20179 yr by the special one
April 25, 20179 yr I don't think morata will be leaving real madrid tbh. benzema hasn't been that great lately and madrid fans have been complaining morata, james and isco should be their regular starters over bale and benzema. there's talk now we're, along with utd and city, after griezmann. i gotta admit, losing out to another rival for lukaku would suck somewhat considering he wants to play for us and is currently one of the best young strikers in europe.

Lukaku left us because he couldn't get a game and Morata is desperate to play for a club that will treat him as their number 1. They won't want to keep being rotated like Matic and Fabregas has been doing for us this season.

In theory Lukaku and Morata would make a good pairing.
April 26, 20179 yr Most Definitely Lukaku. Has all the attributes to be a great player, most importantly PL proven.
April 26, 20179 yr I'm sure Lukaku would bang in goals for us, but my enjoyment of watching Chelsea would lower. Still, if it gets us a title, I'll opt for Lukaku.
April 26, 20179 yr If we sign Sanchez then I wouldnt mind having Morata otherwise it has to be Lukaku, reason is we've already lost 20 goals a season in Lampard which we have not replaced for a few years. If we lose Costa that is a further 20 goals a season and if you add the 5-10 which Terry & Cahill (If he were to be sold in the summer) contribute from defense we will struggle. Getting Sanchez and Morata would be a huge statement however if we were unable to secure Sanchez I would prefer Lukaku as I believe he'll be more prolific then Morata.

It'll be interesting to see just how many rivals we will have when it comes to talking turkey with Everton. I wonder how many will be interested enough to sit down with the Toffees once they bring out their 9 figure demands. Obviously I don't know the answer to that question, but I have my suspicion and my hope. The suspicion, and it's hardly rocket science to figure this out, is that there won't be many. The hope is that there will be one interested team fewer than many here would like there to be.
April 26, 20179 yr If we're sticking with 1 central forward then I think Morata would be better. Going to 3-5-2 we could sign them both if Costa leaves

April 27, 20179 yr Lukaku - Even if the experiment flops he will have a high resale value for any other premier league teams (Andy Carrol, Benteke etc ...). With Moratta I doubt we could recoup the losses should the said experiment fail. Also With Everton rumored to be interested in Tammy Abraham, It would bring down the asking price of Lukaku.
April 27, 20179 yr Lukaku, he would have a chance to play with Hazard and probably another world class player that Conte will bring to us. He was killing teams with Barkley, there is no reason it won't work with Hazard under Conte. Lukaku's numbers are amazing for his age, experienced in the premier league and he's improving from season to season, he worth another chance here. I'd go with Lukaku.
April 28, 20179 yr apparently we are willing to pay 65 milion euros for morata. http://en.as.com/en/2017/04/28/football/1493361087_596973.html
