Either way Malouda was only good for us for the latter half of the 08-09 season and the entire 09-10 season.  Other than that he was pretty garbage other than the odd game.

It was the season after, he was on the bench for the final. I can’t remembwr if he got on the pitch but I don’t think he did.

I'm considering moving to a place with no outside communication. It should have all mod cons except internet and newspapers, as I may have to spend at least 5 years there, possibly even longer

The final will be lively anyway, should be plenty of goals and mistakes. 

Both teams are a cert to score.

Cant believe the absolute w**kfest going on in the media. Its almost as if Pool have actually won the CL.

Yes, RM has looked "beatable" but its also because they have faced some actual giants of the footballing worlds. PSG in round of 16, Juve in QFs, Bayern in SF. Any team in the world would look circumspect and "beatable" against such teams because well, these are 3 of the top 5 teams in the world. Hell they even played Spurs and Bvb in the group stages. 

Pool's toughest test this season has been city whose CL credentials are sh*t. The rest have been Porto, Roma (with a high line?), sevilla, spartak moscow. Fair play for pool to reach the finals of CL, but that has GOT to be the easiest run in any non big 3 (bayern, rm, barca) finalist has had in a while.

2016-17: Juventus = porto, barcelona, monaco

2015-16: ATM = PSV, Barcelona, Bayern

2014-15: Juve = BvB, Monaco, RM

2013-14: ATM = Milan, Barcelona, Chelsea

Most of the teams have had to face 1/2 of the big 3 to get to the final and 1/2 tier B teams (Chelsea, Monaco, Bvb). Roma before this season would not have got into the top 15 teams in the world. 

Again, fair enough to pool, but they have hardly been tested to be fair. To say that they are favourites just because RM has looked circumspect is quite ridiculous in my opinion considering the quality of teams they have had to face in the tournament.

they are the second biggest club in england, they play good football, and salah is on fire, so no surprise really. lowly chelsea "won the lottery" with "dirty russian money" and "boring boring chelsea" so all you need to know really. even though we beat two european giants when they were legit giants and had fantastic teams to win it we'll never receive the same credit as liverpool because they play the right way and are one of the big clubs. i wonder whether views in the media will change about us if we do finally get a coach who plays like klopp or pep and win stuff, or whether it will remain the same old.
