How many times does cesc get overrun when playing in a 2 ?

Anyone with any sense knew this would happen. It just proves the point Musonda made during the week. Rudiger being benched is another bizarre decision as well. 

 

Willian starting is just beyond my comprehension as well, he's been crap all season.

 

I love Cesc but if he can't do it today it really proves he just can't work in a two man midfield anymore. I think he's been scapegoated a bit this year but this palace team are shocking so he should be able to stroll it.

Palace usually turn up against us and the other big sides, hope we get the win, worried it'll be close though!

Sadly I must agree. I can see Luiz or Cahill showing little interest in all 90 minutes and giving up a shambolic goal somewhere in the match. Would not be surprised if within the first 5 minutes.

I think we still get all three points. I will take the Chels to win 1-3, goals from Azpilicueta, Hazard and Moses.

Very predictable XI given the situation. Was hoping for Christensen or Zappacosta or even Rudiger with Charly having an outside chance. 

But this XI should still be able to get the job done. Yet another opportunity for Batshuayi to show he deserves opportunities.

Conte losing his mojo? I don't think so.
We're a team that has injured players and is having to adapt to the circumstance, yes it's not ideal but I'd rather this team play Crystal Palace than Roma.
If you're looking to blame anyone, blame the board for not forking out on squad depth.

Agreed. You'll still find people on this forum claiming Willian should be starting because he scored a nice free kick 2 years ago though.

Palace will be so hungry to win this. Can turn their awful season around like from a magic touch. Hope our lads are on form and on and professional today.

I would have hoped Andreas to start. He is our best cb.

I'm a bit disappointed to see neither Christensen or Rudiger starting and Willian ahead of Pedro.
