Kenedy aside, decent lineup if true.

ampadu in central midfield is interesting. they say he can play defensive mid though, so bit odd with two more defensive players in midfield, unless bakayoko would be the one bombing forward and ampadu in front of defence.

I’m curious to see whether the media reports when this game is a sell out in comparison to Tottenham only selling 23000 for their game.

we have sold out league cup and fa cup games consistently for the last 10 years, 40k plus crowds everytime with games against teams such as Southend, Maccelsfield, Gillingham, Sc**thorpe, Peterborough etc etc, but never mentioned by media, while clubs like Liverpool, Villa, Spurs, West Ham, Newcastle, city have had some appalling crowds in the cups. Also our away followings in these cup ties always sell out as well.

Come on Chelsea !!

Thanks for the heads up. I knew last year they played some matches on Fox but couldn't find anything this morning.

Excellent idea, I'm joining you.

Anyone who calls for a Chelsea player to injured isn't a Chelsea fan

Sorry if it's already mentioned, but does anybody know if there are going to be  cameras for this one? Because usually the veyr first rounds they skip it. I'm wondering whether I should go to cinema and if there are no cameras at the Bridge, no need to stay and watch the score. :D Thanks in advance.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but after the first Arsenal game last season when we went on a 13 game winning run in the league, we played in the league cup against lower league opposition, and lost.

This was with a reasonable starting team including Azpi at right wing back...

My point? Don't underestimate how hard of a game this will be. I have a feeling this won't be the smooth sailing most of us here are predicting.

I'd gladly take a 10 win

Now I know why people used to get turned off when I argued with people on here....

Beyond that I find it so hard to get up for a cup game after a disappointing leauge game especially a big one.

I know we didn't lose but I've been on a downer since Sunday, not so much he result but the lack of desire by conte in big games.

I felt it last season but we did so well I ignored it, next big game we have I'll be at it and my excitement has been tainted a bit.

I know I sound like a Debby downer but ffs I want that Arsenal performance put right asap and watching Kennedy try to skin Nottingham forest players is not going to do it, apologies for not being very positive.

Dont worry, i really think that this last match has shown Conte what he has more accurately and I expect we are going to pretty much see an evolution now in tactics and play. That seems to me how Conte works. It takes a few mistakes for him to "get it" but then when he does its lift off.

We went out to the Spammers last year.

Take your point though that this wont be the easy game many are expecting. Forest with their proud traditions will be well up for this as will their fans. Playing a lot of kids can go two ways against seasoned pro's, some will shine and some will be out of their depth. If as reported both Clarke- Salter and Kenedy are the defensive left side this could be a weakness to be exploited. Should be interesting anyway, pity we didn't have the play lots of kids in the League Cup strategy last year when we had an abundance of quality youth players plus Loftus- Cheek and Nat at our disposal.

This match is on at 1:45 here and I'm stuck teaching a class of useless teenagers.

Then I guess an introduction to Chelsea FC on their devices is the way forward !!.
