Everton didn't show up 1st half, we didn't show up 2nd. 

one of the worse chelsea games I've watched in terms of quality for a long time. 

Awful defending all over there, Christensen kicking at air, Rudiger messing up two clearances and Cahill diving in all over the place. No composure at all.

Win.

Christensen should have cleared that.

We won Everton first team with our second string setup. Not bad. Ampadu was solid. Now lets win Bournemouth and put this slump behind.

Ampadu, Rudiger, Christensen and Zappa played well today. Willian despite of his goal was poor. Musonda was a disappointment.

2 wins on the trot. everton put out their a strong first eleven too against ours. i honestly didn't care for the win today as it's just added fixtures, but it's always good to get a win i guess.

Well, we are through, but once again the formation and tactics almost cost us. The first half we looked comfortable, mainly because Everton can't play the high press for 90+ minutes. If we came up against a side that could do that, i think we would have lost.

If Conte doesn't change things, it's inevitable that we will drop points more than we should as the season progresses.

True, I wasn't impressed with him one bit tonight, but these moments can sometimes turn around a players season. Lets hope that's the case here.

Thought Ampadu's discipline and positioning was excellent for a young lad in his first start.

The big positive tonight was Danny Drinkwater though. He is going to be first choice with Kante I hope !

I think Baka is our main man alongside Kante. Baka's potential and even current level is top class. Had a bad game against Watford.
