Our left side failed today. Pedro can't keep his shot down, Bakayoko is (expletive), Zappacosta gets fed impossible balls where he has to sprint to it half the time then can't get back fast enough when the oppo counters and Cahill is past it against pacy forwards.

It's like watching a slow trainwreck.

He's going before he's touched. I'm not saying it's not a penalty but it's a modern day penalty and it's the way football has gone.

Just shows how sh*t football is becoming when things like that are giving as a foul. We have all played football before, and nothing about that "touch" from Courtois would ever be enough to effect a full grown human being. It's a joke. 

If that is a penalty, then every single time a defender shields a ball back to the goalkeeper, it should be a foul. 

A few years ago, everybody would be calling it a dive, but the sport has given in and just made excuses for it.

it was a penalty as there was still contact to the leg, no matter how small. even the slightest touch can send a player over. deulofeu milked it a bit though.

I feel sorry for him, I really do. The blame should be placed at whoever made the decision to sign him.

I think you have a bad memory. We are still in fourth place, in the CL and fa cup. When Jose was sacked we were on course for the championship...

I was one of the defenders of bakayoko, but I think its safe to say he isn't good enough.  Replacing Matic for him was a loss.
