Watching Newcastle at arse tonight made me appreciate being a chelsea fan, even in this sh*te season. Imagine supporting them? Football is sh*te every year, never get a sniff of a trophy, just battle to avoid relegation and always lose in london. What's the highlight, the thing that makes them come again the next season? The thought of finishing 15th rather than 16th?!

Obviously our expectations are a lot higher now, but even when we were bang average, with nowhere near as much money to play with, we'd play good football every now and then, or have a cup run, or beat Spurs home and away!

eg, look at the side that reached the cup final in 94

Arsenal go third ... don't think they will stay there ... 5 of their last 7 games are away from home ...

They just might if Emery plays Ozil & doesn’t let his ego get in the way. In Aubameyang & Lacazette they have enough fire power.

Enjoyed watching Pogba tonight. Cafe had been rating him as one of the best in the world after the Ole revival.

Nowhere near.

Seems no-one actually wants the top four spots. Tomorrow is a must win!

Quite like watching Wolves, they play with great energy. Counter attacking but very direct when they're on the ball. Mounting and Never were a steal at the price they paid. Big chance for us tomorrow, better not f**k it up.

You what ha ha...

I think that's one of my favourite typos.

Looking on RedCafe and many are slating their team for throwing away top 4 and not taking their chances, in way similar to us after we failed to put Wolves away. Top 4 still open for me just need to win our next match ..... tomorrow.

Not dismissing wolves' achievements in slightest but there has been talk about nuno being Sarri replacement. Thing is, he has a very similar counter attacking, defensive style to Conte. His record is very good against top 6 cos of it. But they have lost more games against the bottom 3, when onus is on them to attack. Think he'd be found out at chelsea, where pressure is on to go forward and entertain more often than not, as well as Winn trophies, finish top 4 etc

Get ready everyone for lots more nauseous 'sp*rs are a big club going places' coverage as their new stadium opens. Admittedly the ground looks good but media are starting to get Liverpool-Esque in their fawning over everything about that club, while ignoring results/trophies etc

I'm hoping this is one of those situations where a team appoint an unexpectedly successful interim manager full time, then absolutely tank after the honeymoon. Fair play to Wolves though, this was no fluke and they've done exceptionally well against the 'Top 6'. They're a well managed team full of good players who fit what the manager wants perfectly. Hopefully we can FINALLY take advantage of an opportunity to move up a little closer to the top 4 after failing to do so the last few times...

Yes it is ironic, shortly after Ole gets the main job his team then go and lose to Wolves. Of course we know that Wolves are not an average mid-table side.

Next up for them is Barcelona in the CL.

It could be a couple of weeks before they get that winning feeling again plenty of time for confidence to be impacted.

I also think Young has been fortunate for a while to escape heavy punishment and so this might have an effect on his game, TBF think he has been important for them via his determination and aggression.

Whole new pressure on OGS now. Before it was train, coach and select and obviously it wasn’t difficult to improve on Jose’s results. He had a good run, but he has a good squad he was fortunate with many results.

Now he must have board meetings and plan for the future, think of long term targets, style of play, keeping players happy and cut the distance between themselves and the noisey neighbours which at the minute is massive.

Just had a peak at their fixtures, Barca in the CL and not long after they face us just four days after playing City.

I think United will regret giving Solskjaer the permanent job. I feel like they buckled under the pressure so they just gave him the job.

United in recent times have been showing signs that they are slipping into a bit of poor form. They got lucky against Southampton, PSG and Watford, and they were outplayed and lost to Arsenal and Wolves twice. They haven't played well since February now.
