But if Arsenal hand threw away points in easily winnable games, most at home to teams in the bottom 5, then they would have won it. Its a bottling, plain and simple.

What would they have won??

They lost directly to Man City on matchday 33 and thus lost the top spot, they just don't have what it takes.

Is this true?

No - it's more social media bollocks LOL

This is what the table looked like after Arsenal beat Manchester United 3-2 on 22nd January, They signed Jorginho on deadline day (31st January) and their next game after the United one was against Everton on 4th Feb.

So it was a 5 point lead with a game in hand, not an 11 point lead with a game in hand.

I see, so they lose 8 points lead and they can be 10 points down by the end of the season.

18 points difference is crazy in just 18 games.

If there was a "standalone" league table for their last 8 games they'd be about 12th or 13th ... loss of a couple of first choice defenders has seemingly been unsurmountable for them ...

11 point swing just in the last 6 ...

No they did not bottle it, since man city basically dropped no points since the Christmas break.

2-0 up against Liverpool drew 2-2, drew against West Ham missed a penalty would have been game over, scraped a draw against Southampton, lost 4-1 to City, got knocked out of the Europa League then lost to Brighton and Forest and you reckon that's not bottling it biggest bottle jobs since George Best dropped off his empties at the recycler.

The J5 effect.

Very proud of the accomplishments of Agent Jorginho...

Well, at least he was part of the bottle job!

Overpaid for Mudryk so he couldn't go to an overperforming Arsenal and absolutely dominate in a new league and sold them J5 to ruin their defence and quick transitions. He gets a lot of stick but that's a Boehly masterclass for me.

Clearly Arteta hasn't watched us play.

You never ever bring jorgi to close out tough games.

You bring jorgi when you are 3-0 up, preferably with 11 v s10. You play him when opp has basically given up and all you need is to play safe passes for game to end. This is the best time to bring jorgi.

If you want evidence Arteta never watched us play it's more evidenced by him signing Havertz and playing him. At least he signed Jorginho and benched him!

Took Arsenal fans all of 270 minutes to realise Havertz is as effective as the withdrawal contraceptive technique.

Another day of gloom for us but will revel in knowing he came on and cost Arsenal the game in their game. The difference between him and Rice is clear. Arsenal collapsed the minute Rice went off and Jorginho came on. Nice to see that mistake gives City a further cushion over them.

Classic Jorginho!

Doesn't make up for yet another home defeat for us but helped soften the blow.
