Sure have your say and remark on the performance, but don't be so stupid to judge Sarri or think it has any bearing on the next 9 months. Half of our team are squad players, the cream of the squad is yet to play under Sarri, or even meet him in some cases.

A fair starting point to start judging Sarri will be on next years calendar.

 

Yeah Hazard and Kante. Everyone else are competing for the first 11 lets not kid ourselves our squad is lacking. Luiz, Alonso, Barkley, Drinkwater, Moses, Morata etc. They are starters on most games. Aside from Hazard and Kante we are not missing many players. 

 

I dont really care much if we lose its been 3 weeks under Sarri. But I know some players wont improve like Morata Cesc who has no legs to run on.

I know it's technically pre season and the player's with take a while to adjust to the new system but how slow are we in posession, there's no zip to our play it's all slow build up

I feel people are more jumping on the club for once again failing to bring in the players that's needed.
You are right that half the team is squad players but we only have three starters missing and one of them wants to leave already.
Which means our squad will still be sorely lacking even whey they are back.

Yep, i in no way wil try and trash talk sarri after 1 game, think he is a great coach, just so angry at our board for tieing our managers hand behind their back,squad had needed an over haul for years and yet they keep making it worse

I think a lot of people are overreacting. It's a new manager and a new system so change isn't going to come overnight. If you're expecting this season to be a walk in the park then you're up for a rude awakening. Sarri and the players need time before laying harsh judgement

Even Guardiola would struggle with this team. In my opinion Conte over achieved. 

Also aaron ramsey wudnt make any difference to this team hes mediocre

Playing agasint a team who broke nearly every PL record last season, not got our best players playing in Hazard and Kante. Manager only been here like 3 weeks, playing agasint a team that cost about 600 billion pounds, i mean there back 4 cost more than our starting eleven i reckon.

I'm not that bothered by this today but I do want to see the side developing a personality. City have a shape and personality which is consistent no matter the line up. Liverpool are heading that way too. It'll take time and it depends on the coach so I'm hoping expectations about Sarri will be realised.

Some proper spoilt brats on here today 

I know it's only early days, and it's only a 'friendly', but we still look bloody awful.

 

Morata is no way the man to lead us up front, and we look so slow all over the pitch our reaction to everything is lethargic and City are on us like flies on sh*t every time we have possession.

A week to go before the season starts, and we are an absolute shambles. 

This could easily have been 4 or 5 if City took their chances.

Our CB's take too many touches before passing. Luiz especially slows things down with his dreadful attempts at being Pirlo.

We haven't outclassed City over 90mins since 2008 when they had Robinho. Incredible. The only top team.that treat us like boys.

Well glad to see he is making changes, 2 mins from the 2nd goal that beats Conte for me and I don't remember many wins under Conte when both Hazard and Kante were missing, and against the champions!.
