So our options are Tammy, Giroud, Morata, Higuain or Bats.

For argument sake if they were each given 40 games next season i'd expect their goals return something like the following:

Tammy - 20 goals

Giroud - 5 goals

Morata - 15 goals

Higuain - 13 goals

Bats - 17 goals

Personally i'd rather go into next season with Tammy and Bats.

You and me both.

Right now, they might not be as good as our rivals strikers, but at least we would have two mobile and hungry strikers as opposed to what we have had to endure this season. Still not quite sure how we managed to finish 3rd with what we had up front.

The fact he is 20? His stats will likely improve. He has scored 4 and assisted 4 in 20 this season so if he plays nearly every game and his stats get better 15 isn’t too illogical.

Produces Willian level numbers, i expect nothing more from him.

The new contract for Giroud really suggests we are not planning to get a freeze on the transfer ban. We have been linked with plenty of younger options in recent months (e.g. Icardi) so it would make no sense to extend Giroud unless we expected no new signings.

Not really, it makes sense to keep him as he gives us a different option with his play.

Willian = 2109 minutes, 3 goals, 6 assists. 30 years old.

Pulisic= 924 minutes, 4 goals, 4 assists. 20 years old. (Almost identical goal assist / minute ratio to RLC)

(Pedro, 1781, 8 goals 2 assists). 

Let's not use Willians stats in vain. They are on another level. Also, Pulisic like Willian prefers left but usually played on the right. So that argument doesnt wash either.

Pulisic has been used as an impact sub this year, which coincidentally is when Willian also did his best for us under Conte. When starting:

Pulisic 17/18 5 goals in 3,038 minutes. 607 mins per goal

Pulisic 16/17 5 goals in 2,323 minutes. 464 mins per goal

Willian 18/19 8 goals in 3,514 minutes. 439 mins per goal

As i said, Willian levels of output

What i dont understand is how you come up with a 20 goals season for a guy who had a really tough time against PL defenders when he was at Swansea and has trouble with physical defenders. I love your enthusiasm about tammy but i think its kind of expecting a bit too much dont you think ? I mean Salah, Mané, Aubameyang had 22 Aguero had 21 even Lacazette only has 13 goals and you expect Tammy to come here next season and rock the league ? i would love to know what makes you so sure about him having so much sucess ?

He was 18 and 19  in those seasons though. Willian's sh*t numbers have all come at his "peak". Pulisic will hopefully continue to improve.

Yeah, I'm confident he will do well. Especially playing him on the left. Hopefully Willian doesn't block his pathway to that role.

I think he means for the whole season. Stats I don't like to look at, prefer just PL. Aubamayang scored 37 goals this season for example. 

Tammy getting 10 in the league next year and 10 in the cups would be a great return and not unrealistic. Although I don't think it will happen.

Why could he not? If made a focal point of our side, a side expected to be one of the best in the league playing with an attacking based system that Sarri continues to implement should give him ample opportunity and Giroud is a striker who is happy to set up his team mates rather than go for his own glory.

With Tammy him and CHO would probably get 8-10 league goals but Tammy could manage 18-20 with their support.

If given the same chances that Higuain, Willian and Pedro have gotten of course.

The thing is we dont have Europa league next season, the Carabao cup + the start of the FA cup is like about 10 games if we are going far, so lets say he scores 10 goals in 10 games against lower league teams that leave us with 10 goals to score in 20 games in the PL (because he wont start 2 games a week) i just dont see it...

20 goals in all comps. 12 in the league, 3 or 4 in the Champions league group stages and a few in the other cups. Not too unrealistic.

I think I'll always have good memories of Giroud in his tenure here. Yeah he wasn't a superstar but he highly influential in this Europa League win, that goal was absolutely brilliant, he caused Arsenal nothing but problems. 

Once that first goal went in Arsenal collapsed. 

Does he get a nice trophy for being topscorer in the Europa League?

As frustrating as he has been at times, that header was like Drogba. Was brought in to replace Morata and he’s done a much better job than him. Helps that he’s a sexy bastard too!

I see we're not competing for the same man 

He's indeed done a better job than Morata, but on the whole in the league he could have been better. Not complaining about his European form, mind you.

That performance in final would never be forgotten. He is a real warrior, not a top-level striker but he is a real professional and I was so happy for him to score and assist that goal to Hazard.

Great performance by him, proves himself after signing a new contract.
