For example I never would have got rid of Cech, who seemed to be the link between the owners and Tuchel, getting rid of him caused communication breakdown with Tuchel and of course he got sacked.

Cech quit. It wasn't a dismissal

Another one bites the dust.

” Chelsea head physio Thierry Laurent is axed on ZOOM after 17 YEARS at Stamford Bridge - as Boehly's ruthless clearout goes on

We won’t have anyone left at this rate.

Ouch...17 years and not even a personal dismissal.

I wonder if it's a blanket 'every has to go' policy or if they are looking into performances and aren't happy with our recent injury records?

3/4 of the team should be down the road if that's the remit.

Oh naturally I think there will be pushback as we saw last time. But in the end money talks for those who buy clubs to make money. Note that it was City and Chelsea, both privately owned, who first pulled the pin and PSG and the big fan owned German clubs didn't join.

The parasites will always find ways to make money off their investment. They don't see it as being steward of a football club and it's history and fans but as a money making exercise.

The worst thing that we will learn is that Clearlake only care about the valuation of the asset. If it's profitable that's a bonus.

The real problem may not be the current ownership, but what happens in 5-10 years time when they sell to a new buyer. A new buyer will presumably be buying a club at the absolute peak of its valuation.

You only have to look at a company like Netflix or Facebook to see what happens.

I wonder what the basis was for firing the medical team.  If it's based on data I'm not surprised. The last few years we've had an alarming number of injuries and while that could very well be due to tight fixture lists post COVID, other teams haven't been suffering as much.

I've heard Under The Bridge is closing I was never in there myself but a couple of mates went to the Bad Manners gigs every Christmas was supposed to be a right good piss up. Probably part of Boehly's new broom don't think it was losing money but was definitely part of Roman's tenure and has to be said there's not much of that left.

We had a pretty ordinary injury runs over the last 12-18 months, congested fixtures, covid, bad luck, International football, the reasons go on.. Would a new head physio fix them? I doubt it, there's no physio in the world will stop Kante from getting injured. Even if Boehly is right, where is he going to find that better person,  from ER, Liverpool, Barca? See how much trouble we had with hiring a DOF, and that's been 3-4 months now.  Look forward to the news that some Physio in Austria turned us down.

The problem, again, is whether they have anyone already in place to get on with the job or if it's another trigger-happy sacking and let's try to fish anyone in the market with the consequence of ending up not having a physio manager for the next few months. Maybe Boehly is good at massaging, who knows!

Maybe the new manager wants to bring his people in, its not a surprise when a new owner or manager arrives and theres big changes in staff.

Yes, Potter brought his team with him, does that include a head physio? If not, have we already negotiated with Brighton and contracted the physio? If we haven't anyone ready to step in, it does not make sense, as before, sacking him now. I know all the media news are partial and do not contain much to be trusted, so we don't really know, but judging by what's happened before, it is likely that we haven't got anyone to substitute the head physio. I'm not against sacking all the people that got the sack, it's normal when new owners and new coach arrive, but having to rebuild the structure right before the transfer window closes and once the season has started, is not a good way to build the future. It looks like there's no plan and the owners are happy to fire people they don't want but don't have any alternative in place.

Looks like apart from Monchi, the other 3 candidates are uninspiring at best. There are now reports we are waiting until after the WC and maybe even longer. If that is the case we best wait for Edwards.

Apparently Fofana was sent to the states to complete his medical because Boehly didn't trust our medical staff. I have to admit, our injury record has been appalling since Eva left.

Here's the answer to my own question a well respected music venue closed and replaced with this. Not surprising really this is who the higher ups want to attract to football it's quite depressing actually.  In a cost of living crisis the average football fan struggling and just made worse with the idiotic mini budget I would rather go to my local than this place.

I thought it read PortiNonsense at first.

I wonder if we will try to add Como as well. The club with both Dennis Wise and Cesc at it.

Eva getting fired/leaving was honestly one of the dirtiest things the club ever did. She lost her job just by doing her job. The fact that our injuries have been bad since then almost make it feel like a curse.
