Aye so it could be a case of you have Werner Lukaku, Broja and Batman for 1 main striker position, so use those or some of them have to be sold before you can sign anyone else, for example.

Fair point but thus was not part of the fanfare coming into this. Whilst much may well be unsubstantiated media gossip the expectation would be statement signing to announce the new reign. Neymar, de Ligt, Lewandowski, Isco. All were mooted. All we have been seriously linked with are goalkeeper youngsters.

Meanwhile all of our rivals are moving in the market for easily achievable transfer fees

It won't be long before the media sniff out a story and start saying that there are major problems behind the scenes.

From what I’ve read of TB’s talk at a private capital conference, sounds like the focus is on increasing revenue streams.

Another day of total inactivity. Becoming embarrassing now. West Ham trading. Brighton. Can't believe we didn't even have a sniff at Bissouma.  It is starting to already look like our concerns about this sale may have been well founded.

Thought Boehly out of all the potential owners was the most likely to spend money given his record with the Dodgers.

 

Nothing wrong with not signing players this early but the fact that there aren't even rumors of us being seriously interested in anyone is worrying

Why is everyone pissing the bed? Our rivals weren’t just taken over and aren’t restructuring. Romans model wasn’t sustainable hence 1.5 billion in debt, silly signings, manager turn over, it worked while it worked but that approach couldn’t last forever. 

I think a lot of the things the new owner said makes sense and if we went in blazing buying everyone available to appease impatient fans it would literally contradict everything he said about making our model more like Liverpool, it takes time chill out window is open for another 10 weeks. 
 

Prioroty 1 is obviously unloading a very expensive under performing player so we know where we stand and it’s a bit of a complicated deal.

All our targets have evaporated in a week!

Women's team brought a few in but word on GV is that they were just awaiting the sign off etc

Sometimes silence is good but there's absolutely nada happening, No clue, We need 5 players by august

Jan might be interesting as world cup dec good for scouts, boely may see something he likes but yeah wet fart june with limited info not good so far

Scouts for all we know have 20 targets lined up so bums will get squeaky if no movement soon!

We’re not competing with the present midfield, even with Gallagher coming in we’re still missing that player that can play quick, quality passes that are not sideways. We need to play faster and with the same midfield we’re not going to do it.

Conte's Tottenham have won more points than us since he took over (with no pre season), they're already better than us. Add in Perisic and Bissouma and they're way ahead

To be fair City and Pool already have well-oiled machines that have probably been scouting for talent throughout the whole season. We are literally overhauling the whole hierarchy of our club we shouldn't be comparing our transfer activity to them.
