I hope they spend zero this summer, say they need to release players, use youth. Just to see the fallout, crying and whining from certain sections of our fan base. It would be glorious.

This our chance to reinvent the wheel here and save Todd and the hedge fund some dollars.  Forget a policy of youth, pursue a policy of old.

Let's go out and bring back some of our all-time greats. Drogba (still better than Werner and Lukaku), Zola (still better than Messi), Terry (better than Rudiger and Christensen put together), Nevin (still better than CHO and Pulisic), Mikel (still faster than Jorginho) etc.

OK they might need an intense summer boot camp but class is always permanent.

How long do you think it would be before your glorious satisfaction wore off?

2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes and 32 seconds.

So the BBC headline news is that our priority is signing Stirling. Thank goodness I have other interests than football. I can’t stand him and he’s sh*t so gardening or tidying the loft will occupy weekends.

Its an absolute head shaker if im honest!

Chelsea Women Burn GIF by Barclays FAWSL

I’m old and not cool so I have absolutely no idea what that means. But I do know I’d much rather Kerr play for our mens first 11 than have a crappy City reject come to us to retire whilst our new investment banker owners somehow think he’ll do to convince the supporters that the club is still interested in being successful on the field. Do City still have Fabian Delph in a cupboard somewhere? I’m sure they’d take 30 million for him if we offered.

While not my first choice, I don't get the hate for Sterling. His off the ball movement is superb which gets him in positions for tap ins. He is 27 and is entering his prime. Pep wanted to keep him so he is not a reject. They even offered him a contract which he rejected as he wants more playing time which is tough as City are stacked.

I think he will do well.

The problem is, we don't create chances for tap ins.

Even though its all a farce and players only play for the clubs that pay them the most and they can win things with, we as fans still have this nostalgic hope that players that sign for us want to be here and will do their utmost to be fans' heroes. This guy, if he actually comes, will only come here as urs the best offer. Doesn't like the club, Doesn't like the Dan's.

Let's not forget, by the way, as we enter the second week of this rumour (day 2 for the clowns at Sky) no contact has been made between the clubs and the club has not even spoken to the player yet. Sounds bailed on, doesnt it.

CHO-Havertz-Sterling. A creator, a false 9 and a finisher.

Todd Boehly & Thomas Tuchel decided that sorting out the Romelu Lukaku situation early in the window was the priority over incoming transfer business [@Matt_Law_DT].

Only a matter of time before Boehly & Tuchel can start working on incomings!

Would not surprise me of we have not been working on new signings yet with lots of other things the new owners are doing settling in. All these names like Dembele, Clauss, Sterling etc are just media guess work imo.

I've always liked the " come along, come along, come along and sing this song". One of my favourites, it was the downside to our promotions for me.

A return to the days when a " full members cup trophy " was a highlight would be a delight.

Got to say I like what Boehly is doing so far.

Straight to the point in getting rid of Granovskaia, Buck and Lukaku is gone and he's clearly given Tuchel the reigns in the transfer market right now. Needless to say it was much needed.

Ok if the replacements for buck and grano are any good. Not very good if it's some hedge fund executive s.

There was a Chelsea before RA.

a few decent cup runs will be the very best we can hope for.

but we had decent teams amid the disasters and useless managers back then , now we have a great academy to call upon.

And correct me , but I don't recall any academy player letting us down as badly as some of our expensive signing s have ?

expect the stadium to be renamed the " 3" stadium this week.

I said similar a while back but its taken a while to clear up, Heres hoping for a busy july with manager picks coming in, Do or die for TT, If it gets stinky hell be on the chopping block and TB will be off to a dismal start! But im optimistic if they bring a few in and let a few go, The team/club needs a shake up
