Protesting about a proposed super league the day of the Brighton match and marching on Parliament to protest about sanctions are two massively different things. Do you think scousers would have travelled down from Liverpool to the Houses of Parliament to pointlessly protest about something are you for real ?. There is very little freedom of speech in this country the Sarah Everard vigil was proof of that. Agree with your comments, however people from Liverpool are Everton fans. The Liverpool fans would only have had to travel from around the corner.

Fofana and DD. Fofana together because he would get confused giving instructions; nonsense about Boehly thinking the EPL has playoffs and no relegation etc etc. It really is braindead, bordering on racism/xenophobia. I would expect this sh*t from scallies, but not from our own "support". With fans like some of you on here....who needs enemies? We used to be fairly immune on here to the idiocy no other forums and social media, unfortunately the f**kwits seem to be joining this forum more and more lately, I can only think other sites have banned them or closed. The amount of thick bellends with moronic "hot takes" is ridiculous now.

Is it coincidence that they turn up here when were are in our biggest slump in years ? we have only been here 20 years, in all that 20 years if you type chelsea forum in google we have always been top of the search results. ♫ Where were you when we were NOT sh*t ? ♫
February 26, 20233 yr I keep seeing people say they are excited for the owners ambitions, but surely we have to question if their ambition was actually just delusion. The only reason why we aren't already in the relegation zone is because the guy they sacked got us enough points early on. Were they even interested in buying a football club before Roman was forced to sell? I have serious doubts because they have done things that no other owner ever does. The contracts, the money spent, sticking by a manager that can't get us a single win or even a goal, clearing out staff. Even the most optimistic fan has to be worried now, where the f**k is this club going? We should forget about dreams of competing at the top again, we should be looking to avoid becoming the next Leeds!
February 26, 20233 yr I'm really going of Boehly, my club is sinking fast and he doesn't seem to give a sh*t but to back Potter.
February 26, 20233 yr This is going to blow up. I’ve said it before. The owners don’t know what they’re doing. Even if they did, chance of blowing up would be high. It’s just maths. It’s not about the players or potter. It’s bigger than that. Any discussion of players is moot. “We just need to get rid of x, strengthen y.” Forget it. These clowns have gone and spent idiotic sums on players no better than the ones we have, offering them insane contracts while treating proven players who’ve been instrumental in the successes we did have like shxt. The sooner these owners are forced out the better. But things are going to get SO much worse first.
February 26, 20233 yr Boehly's actions in the summer has genuinely taken us 5 steps backwards. He is making things exceedingly worse every day Potter is still appointed as manager.
February 26, 20233 yr I hope they've done their sums correctly on how we fair with FFP given we'll be out of Europe for next season and quite possibly longer.
February 26, 20233 yr Unfortunately looking like sacking Tuchel for potter will go down as an historically bad decision.

If you set any stall in the Transfermarkt player valuation data, Boehly has paid transfer fees of €626.5m for €445.1m of players, a self-inflicted financial hit of €181.4m ... and it's over €200m vanished into thin air if you include the compensation paid to Brighton for Potter and his team. A creditable effort for 6 months of work !
February 26, 20233 yr If I'm Todd Boehly, and I genuinely believe Potter has some sort of enhanced ability to develop players, then I'm buying a feeder club (Strasbourg the latest candidate in the media) and transferring/loaning them all the players I want developed for Chelsea, and then I'm putting Potter in charge of that. Same "Corporation" different job ... I'm then bringing in someone with the requisite level of management experience, credibility and track record at top clubs to restore the winning culture to the Chelsea Mens team.
February 26, 20233 yr I would be surprised that the footballing people he bought in aren’t telling him this is not working and either through sheer stubbornness or ignorance he’s not wanting to sack him to save face. He has to let that go potter is not the man for the job.

Winstanley, also from Brighton, is probably going to have Potter's back for as long as he can get away with it ...
February 26, 20233 yr I feel like Vivell could play a huge part in forcing Boehly's hand, given that he called a crisis meeting. He seems to be the only competent person left at the club

We’ll there is having someone’s back when is a minor downturn but anyone who’s in the club still backing potter should go with him when the inevitable happens

February 26, 20233 yr Boehly and Clearlake have to take a big chunk of the blame for this shambles of a season. Starting with a mess of a pre-season when seemed to prioritize showing off their new asset over bringing in a much needed Director of Football. Then making a bunch of expensive signings to back a manager that they were already planning to get rid of. Then bringing in an inexperienced replacement, again before appointing a Director of Football. Hopefully things will improve, but unfortunately they have probably thrown away a lot of the goodwill that they are enjoyed from fans following the initial takeover.

A creditable effort for 6 months of work ! Wow. when you then start subtracting all the CL revenue etc that would have been in their projections, the picture gets more 😱 . I fear football is kind of in a bubble - particularly the premier league. There’s a lot of complacency about its pre-eminence / invincibility. But So many signs of excess, and things that just don’t add up/ don’t smell right. Cracks appearing like this city FFP scandal. It could be in for a reckoning. This isn’t a prediction but it’s worryingly easy to make the case. The hit you mention could then get a lot worse. What if that valuation data drops to €200 mln? It’s not impossible. Is Cucurella worth more than 20% of what we paid? 10% even? it would probably be good for football in the long run, but terrrible for Chelsea for the foreseeable future.
February 26, 20233 yr I fear for the club. I really do. Normally this type of stuff wouldn't affect me but with who our new owners are we could see some drastic repercussions of our spending.
February 26, 20233 yr Honestly can’t get my head around Boehly. He couldn’t wait to get rid of Tuchel, one of the best coaches in the world and hired f*cking Potter. Now he’s standing by him through thick and thin, why couldn’t he have done the same for Tuchel? At least Tuchel proved himself in winning trophies and he should have been given time with new signings to improve league form, which wasn’t amazing but miles and miles better than now. Tuchel secured top 4 while going through sanctions, change of ownership, Lukaku situation, and Potter can’t even get a bloody goal never mind getting a win!
