Apparently a protest is going to happen this Wednesday outside Stamford Bridge. Not sure why this Wednesday, is Boehly going to be around that day or something?

That would be embarrassing. What are they protesting against?

If they're protesting against Potter, then you'd be better off vocally supporting him and the team at the stadium and hoping he turns things around if he remains head coach.

If they're protesting against the owners, then clearly they have short memories considering they financially invested in the club when it was about to go out of business.

Be interesting to see if it happens. If it does you would have to ask how can you be so angry to Protest against Potter, but you could not offer that same energy to support the previous owner who saved us from bankruptcy and helped us to many cherished memories?

That's a ridiculous statement. We sang about Roman the fans got slaughtered by the media as if we were siding with Putin. What exactly is the average football fan supposed to do when the country's most corrupt government ever decides to sanction us and yet Evgeny Lebedev (who's old man was sanctioned by the country you live in) a mate of Boris Johnson is given a peerage. If this government has it's way people won't be able to protest about anything soon if their proposed bill gets through the House of Lords so I would ease up the glib statements and think about how powerless not just football fans are but everyone is in the UK.

It is a Potter Out protest. But, I have only seen it on FB, so take it with a pinch of salt and it may not happen after all. There was a group of supporters that sang anti Potter songs outside Stamford Bridge after the game, which I think is a more natural thing to do given how we lost on Saturday and supporters were on edge (even if I don't agree with the Potter Out sentiment and I wasn't involved).

Always freedom of speech mate. It would have changed nothing but I maintain had Roman owned Liverpool rather than us their fans would have been out in force protesting around number 10 and the houses of parliament. We were the first club out in force in England to protest the super league, I just feel our fans should have done the same for Roman.

Liverpool fans could have done that, and would have probably been put on a pedestal by the media. We have seen the difference in the way that the fans are treated time and time again. Our fans were criticized for even daring to sing Roman's name at the time. Can you imagine the uproar if our fans dared to protest the sanctions?

Should Newcastle fans have vocally supported Steve Bruce? Realistically only the fans turning on Potter could end Boehly's love affair with him at this point.

Aye I can, but I believe Roman deserved that for his time of ownership.

What would it have achieved nothing we were sanctioned by the government do you think they were going to change their mind ?. Protesting about a proposed super league the day of the Brighton match and marching on Parliament to protest about sanctions are two massively different things. Do you think scousers would have travelled down from Liverpool to the Houses of Parliament to pointlessly protest about something are you for real ?.

There is very little freedom of speech in this country the Sarah Everard vigil was proof of that.

No they wouldn't it's all speculation and whataboutery. Absolutely nothing the fans could have done the government were making an example of the world's best known oligarch yet ignoring the fact Russians own half of London's high end property.

I do know/have known several Kopities, so yes I do believe they would do that.

How exactly ? one of the poorest areas in the country are going to travel en masse paying if they went by train hundreds of pounds just to make a token gesture. They may well protest in the town square but that's all you also seem to have a higher opinion of Liverpool fans than Chelsea if you're saying we were wrong not to protest. That twat Dominic Rabb is a Chelsea fan he wasn't much help was he so what sort of power of persuasion  do you think the average man or woman in the street would have. Anyway that's enough from me.

Not a higher opinion mate, just my experience that, of top level clubs, their fan base is most fanatical and prone to extreme actions. They would have seen it as persecution against their club and would have responded in kind.

Of course this is just me speculating what they woild have done, and just my opinion on it.

🙄😓anyone heard the news about Boehly thought that Chelsea is automatically qualified for Champion L. And he didn’t know that they wont let you play in it if you finished number 10.

 I hope it’s a joke

Ah yes man spends billions of pounds and does zero research.

Plausible for me because otherwise we didn’t hire Harry Potter as manager. You can’t keep doubling down on Potter. 🤷

If you really believe that then you are an idiot.

These are the same people who gave Potter 5 years contract and 12 m. Who hasn’t won anything.

Please stop, you're embarassing yourself

For goodness sake - some of our fans are an embarrassment.

utter sh*te about "Harry" Potter; Boehly believing we qualify automatically for the champions league; Potter couldn't play W. Fofana and DD. Fofana together because he would get confused giving instructions; nonsense about Boehly thinking the EPL has playoffs and no relegation etc etc.

It really is braindead, bordering on racism/xenophobia. I would expect this sh*t from scallies, but not from our own "support".

With fans like some of you on here....who needs enemies?
