But isn't there still an ongoing investigation  into other misdemeanors that came to light from the leaked " Cyprus papers", that are a separate issue to the self reported stuff?

Or maybe they were investigated together ,?

I believe it is just the Roman charges. Looks like we’ll get away with it.

Never heard of this guy minerals before, but have to agree with him totally.

Despite some good takes, he has a weird ‘thing’ for Mount, one of the best player sales and replacement jobs (Palmer) in the history of Chelsea, and possibly the sport. But there you go. So the fact he still cries about Mount, makes him unwatchable.

He's far from the only fan that does this but the minute any of his favourites don't match the "standards" he constantly bangs on about he drops them to whatever level nessesery to accommodate them.

Another example on top of Mount

The "Cyprus" papers stuff is minor. They are allegations that Abramovich funded Vitesse Arnhem because the GM of his investment company, Millhouse, was using funds to bankroll his purchase of Vitesse, and so don't relate to the Premier League.

Given UEFA's relaxing of multi-club ownership rules, however, they are now a non-starter. It would only be an issue if both clubs played together in the same competition.

See below,....

,,,'allegations come from a data leak from Cyprus-based financial services provider MeritServus, which helped manage Abramovich’s wealth. They form part of a wider investigation called Cyprus Confidential, led by ICIJ and Paper Trail Media.

Although Chelsea appears to have benefited from some of the payments, they were made off the books. The offshore payments did not appear in Chelsea’s annual accounts, submitted to the Premier League, Football Association and Uefa, the governing body of European football.

The revelations will add to pressures faced by Chelsea, which is already under scrutiny after its new owners reported that “incomplete financial information” was submitted between 2012 and 2019, during Abramovich’s ownership.

Yeah, the bolded part refers to to the charges currently sorted out with the PL, they are seperate hence "the revelations will add to pressures..."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to identify a serious issue in central midfield.  With Lavia's absence through March, and Enzo an unknown, the club should have recalled both Santos and Ugochukwu for depth.  Hell, both would probably start.  We're one injury away from no midfield cover, unless Trev steps in there also.  Very frustrating

Perhaps we have a revolutionary 4-0-6 formation up our sleeves ?

Disrupting the industry is our new DNA after all !

Chukwuemeka and Rak-Sakyi should both get chances in the league should we need cover.

I'd leave Santos on loan until the end of the season but i see no reason why we aren't bring Uguchukwu back. He's played less than 600 minutes in the league for Southampton, even as cover he'd likely make more than that in the second half of this season with Lavia a walking sick note and Enzo now injured.

Actually think it is harder to f**k up the club this bad given where we were when they took over.

We will never be a serious club with this lot in charge. We are spurs. Spurs never win anything as they don't get what they need in the market, we spend fortunes, but like spurs we don't get the right players in.

A serious club would've got Osimhen over the line.

A serious club wouldn't have Brightons sub keeper as their number one.

A serious club wouldn't have bought 10 centre backs that are not good enough.

The wages and the profile of players we are bringing in, will mean we are always in the building phase, always looking for next season. You cannot develop full squads of young players, you need balance to compete.

For a brief moment in Oct/Nov I thought we had things sorted. Was I ever wrong.

The continued mismanagement of this club is painful to watch. We’ve spent so much and have glaring weaknesses in goal, central defense, central midfield and striker.

We had depth for a moment , but injuries and the attempt to sell a few players has destroyed that.

This club is a shadow of what Roman built. No one fears playing us. We’re easy to take against, gift chances, take few of our own, and lack any real identity.

Never win big moments. Never arrive when we need to.

They don’t even look bothered after losing

Clueless ownership z hiring Brighton’s sporting directors.. we are performing at Brighton’s level.. we have built a team of highlight reel players .. kind who get loads of interest and have a few moments .. so there is always a market for them..

this is on these clowns for running the club down to the ground.. sacking poch was really odd.. then the summer transfer business of buying back ups for back ups..

these sporting directors and the entire board are shambolic and a case study on how to burn a billion bugs .. fck Putin man!

When you look at what Boehly is doing with the LA Dodgers, you just have to sigh.

To put it in football terms, imagine we just won the league. Boehly is lining us up to buy Gyorkeres & Musiala. While at the same time buying Kerkez at LB and Marquinhos at CB.

While he got it wrong you just have to look at his time as the SD, in addition to the Dodgers, and can see his attitude is big names on big money.

This is all Clearlake. Hedgefund be making money, is their business.

I'll get some people disagreeing but I still think we are only 3 or 4 players away from a potential title winning team. However, we've appointed a manager that isn't good enough to manage them and I don't trust the directors to get the decisions on which players we sign correct.

I kind of agree in part, but there remains a thin veneer of quality here.

  • None of the keepers are good enough but we just need efficient and competent.  Elite would be best though.
  • James can't stay fit and Gusto is weak and ineffective.
  • Colwill is nowhere near as good as he and his agent thinks he is.
  • The depth in CBs is horrendous and Fofana is not only made of glass but is yet to show any consistency.
  • Chilwell's treatment must surely undermine morale and be a talking point behind the managers back
  • Lavia is probably one of our best players but is also made of glass.
  • Madueke not good enough, Neto not good enough, Mudryk not good enough. Dewsbury Hall not good enough.
  • Nkunku has been ruined and now will never come good. Possibly the same for Carney.
  • Jackson should never be leading the line.

But IMO

  • Tosin and Trev are decent enough as rotational CB. 2 more needed if Colwill ends up being sold.
  • Acheampong will improve and can work alongside James if he can stay fit.
  • Back up for Cucu is needed
  • Back up for Lavia is needed.
  • keeping Palmer and Sancho, 2 or 3 further wide players or 10s are needed.
  • But most important of all a new GK and a proper, strong presence up top as a striker are primary requirements.
