We are lucky as fans to have such choice.  I think the nostalgic among us will go for Zola as he was the sign of things to come, a bridge between what was and what was to be.  Terry captained us during our most successful time, and was a great leader; however, I do think some of his antics as a young-un may have tarnished him in the eyes of some.  Lampard, won it all, broke the records, and was an awesome midfielder, not just one of our best, but one of the best.  So, for me, it's Super Frank.

I have to say the best player I ever seen at in terms of skill speed and scaring the living crap out the oposition was Robben, He really got me out of my seat everytime he touhced the ball. The fact that he only touched the ball 4 times a season means he can't be the greatest.

He and Duff are the type of wingers I long for again.  Also as far as skill goes, honorable mention to Joe Cole as I loved watching him.  Zola mugging off Carragher is always great, but Joey mugging of the entire Utd team and scoring will go down as one of my favourite ever.  ANother who was class on his day when he could be bothered, and a cult hero of mine was Guddy

As an individual player, Frank Lampard.
Legendary midfielder that has the second highest number of appearences and that had amazing intelligence and an insane goal scoring record that can be compared to strikers.

Terry was a great captain and added so much for the team but I see him behind Vidic in terms of pure defending, while nobody comes close to Lampard in the midfield when it comes to pure attacking the goal, in Premier league history.

If it had been most talented it’d be Eden, but greatest has to be between JT and Frank. Gave it to Frank by a whisker, although still not really decided. Both great for very different reasons.

Really? Talented at what? Using social media, teasing his future moves? Cause you cannot mean talent as a footballer because he is not even in the same league as Zola for football talent.

Not to be see as an attack on Eden but the ONLY thing he has on prime Zola is pace. Every other aspect Zola was superior

Corner delivery Zola was better, delivering and scoring free kicks Zola was better, left foot, right foot or head it did not matter as the man was precision. His ball control was second to none, he dumped the great Jamie Carragher on his bum when franco was 37, he scored THAT goal against Norwich. As a leader, as a role model, as Mr. Chelsea. He had it.

He was obscenely good.

Such a ridiculous statement.

Zola brought Roman's interest to Chelsea, secured CL football so Roman bought Chelsea. Without Zola there would be no Roman takeover and while we still would have Lamps and JT to discuss we would not even have seen Eden play for us had it not been for Zola.

Bit surprised that the Drog is so low down. I personally would have put him above Hazard, even with some of his antics in the early days.

I think if we're talking strictly Premier League then it would be further down the list. Drogba came to life in the Champions League and cup finals. Whilst his Premier League record was very good, it was never spectacular apart from 09/10.

Premier League era, but not strictly Premier League. I'd still have Drogba over Hazard if I had to choose.

Personally Hazard doesn’t belong on this list imo. People who rate him above Zola for me must either have short memories or never saw Zola.

Anyway as for our greatest I think it’s either Lampard or Terry with Zola behind those two then Drogba.

Had it not been for Eden we would still be on 4 league titles instead of 6.

I'm sorry but that's wrong, Hazard has stepped up in two title races to get us over the line while the rest of our attacking players were going all Spursy on us, and lead us to victory in the Cup final being our only source of attack all game.

He was the one type of player our mid to late 00's side were missing and had we had him not even United with Ronaldo and Fergie would have stopped us.

He very much deserves his place in that conversation.

I don’t think it’s wrong, sure he’s been instrumental at times but then there’s been the season he completely disappeared and his goal scoring stats are inconsistent. For me he’s not in that bracket, the tier under it sure but to me he’s not yet a club Legend such as Lamps, JT, Drogs, Wisey, Cech, Zola etc

Eden and Zola are very close together in playing styles but Zola edges it for me (I’ll admit nostalgia is probably playing a part). Remember we’ve got Eden in his prime, what Zola achieved he did in his twilight years!

If Zola dragged us across the line they way Eden did in 2015 he would rightly be considered immortal.

And I don't buy the inconsistency thing, maybe if you were expecting him to grow to be on par with the two freaks but beyond that I can't see how that argument can even be made to he honest, like look at these stats for this season below.

Basically top of all the positive attacking stats bar overall goals scored this season (where he's supposedly blown hot and cold) and he's almost always top 3 in them, infact even in the Mourinho meltdown season when he was unquestionably in the worst form of his career he was in top 10.

He's done more than enough to be considered in the same conversation as those players.

Right but that's a different topic and not really a sound argument to say why Hazard is not in the same class. To put it nicely, you sound really sentimental.

For mine, it's Lampard but it's not clear cut.

Zola and Hazard are the most technically gifted I've seen in the PL era.

Terry is the greatest CB I've seen and one of the best leaders ever.
